    I can't thank you enough for making all of your videos- sometimes I feel like its great to get another individuals teaching methods as well as what I get at college, because it really allows me to compare and find what the examiners are clearly searching for. You give me clarity so thanks a lot

    for the first evaluate question (evaluate if its an advantage to be able to switch between different varities of english), all the theories and terminology mentioned was leaning towards supporting/agreeing what the question said, so where is the 'evaluate' part where we can bring in theories/models/studies that can go against this idea?

    I find it interesting that you mentioned slightly incorrect instances of spelling in the model answer - so could I take this to mean that the occasional addition or subtraction of a letter won't end up negatively affecting my grade due to lack of SpaG?

      @nuggs6150 8 місяців тому +2

      I believe so, my teacher said as long as the correct meaning is conveyed and you don't misspell every single word then it shouldn't matter, especially if it is clearly a typo. Good luck tomorrow.

      @@nuggs6150 So how was it? Personally, I thought q1 was amazing - you can do so much with 'identity'. I struggled a bit on Q2 though and am I scared I might've gone a bit off track for Q3 but hopefully that's not the case.

    I believed that the first question was always a choice between writing about gendered language or language diversity/change?

    • @paradoxity_
      @paradoxity_ 8 місяців тому +2

      one question will always be change. the other question will be on an unspecified diversity topic, that could be gender, or it could be accent, dialect, age, occupation etc.
