Mamamoo doesn’t stick to one genre. They aren’t afraid to try new stuff. When I first Stan them I thought they were just like every other group that stuck to one genre but after I heard their song I realized that they were so different they can do ballads to rock and that surprised me.

As a Byul fan since 2016, I love seeing her becoming more “Byul” than ever. Good song, strong production, rhythm, melody, lyrics. She’s looking better as she matures as an artist and it’s a pleasure to see her become more in control of her abilities and more fully inhabit her identity as a unique, distinct artist.

Why is Moonbyul and Mamamoo still underappreciated. They rock all sorts of concepts, they have tried all sorts of music genre, and they can do all sorts of performance styles. Their visuals are unique, they talents and skills are definitely top tier. Their vocals are no joke, even their dancers and rappers are on top. Their personality are really lovable and their quite the comedians. And their charisma is just unmatched and their stage presence is undeniable. They are the standard. Stan girls who have and can do it all.

Yeah, super poor promotion from their company. Look at Wheein's flying success with the very first comeback under her new company. But I also think that we should re-define what underappreciation means. Popularity and views and sales nowadays are pretty much on the business side, it somehow distorts the meaning of how artists are appreciated. Put it simply, take the Korean music industry for example, almost the top nation-wide well-respected singers are not idols and therefore are not popular outside Korea, and then they are called 'underrated', while within their industry, real big figures might not even know the idols that are popular in international markets. So, yeah, I don't think MAMAMOO members are underrated or underappreciated. They are just in a different category, not to mention that stupid Rbw business CEO (they have 2 CEOs, one producing great music for the girls, and one sabotaging them in business).
Let us also not forget that we have different tastes. In KPop, I only like BTOB and Mamamoo. Both group exhibits vocal prowess and are popular in Korea rather than international. I cannot blame the company solely.
I don't think is poor promotion alone, it's just that RBW is still a small company compared to popular groups. People expect a lot from them, like JYP or SM budget but they aren't even bigger than CUBE. MMM is the most popular gg outside of the big three co. That does say something tho. I hope as RBW grows so does their promotion opportunities and knowledge.
Moonbyul stay in #1 in World Wide Itune Album, moomoos really work hard, even Wheein also achieve 10M her comeback, it means moomoos do their best, only Kpop stan need research about Mamamoo. They are group who fastest debut as sololist, they ars group who know how to sing in different genre, this group still hold their tittle as Most criteds in Komca both korea and japan.
moonbyul has been showing us her versatility since the pre-releases, she’s so smart for doing the script and you can see how involved she was while making this album which makes it more special for me

Dark Side of The Moon broke records too, but the views are still so low and she never won any awards for her solos because of it. This is why it's so important that we promote and support because no one else will do it!!!
