Safety First: Use a qualified rigger to rig your aerial hoop. Be fully warmed up before you attempt any exercises on the aerial hoop. Place a crash mat underneath you and have a spotter to assist you.
I get all of my equipment from www.firetoys.co.uk/?cmid=NnpQ...

Thankyou when I get my silks the first trick I want to try is the cross back straddle.
It's a lovely trick! It's not a beginner move though so you might find it difficult if you haven't already been doing silks for a while. If you're brand new the silks, please learn beginner moves first, as perfecting the beginner moves will make learning the harder ones so much safer and easier! I have hundreds of aerial silks tutorials on academy.uniqueaerialists.com :)
Practiced this yesterday and could not get my invert! 😂 Great video!
Very useful video, thank you so much!
I just learned the hammock entry! At my studio, we call it sitting straddle back
im new here to your channel and just want to say thank you! I am slowly going back to silks and your channel has all I need! Amazing!
Thank you for that tutorial! :) Does ceiling height matter a lot with this move? It's really difficult for me to get the X right and I'm wondering if that's because my silks aren't long enough (ceiling height is only about 2.8 meters) or whether I just need more practice.
Yes if you're quite close to your rigging point it is harder as the silks will be tighter!
First comment and great video :)

Hi I love you so much I'm ur biggest fan!!!!! Can I have a shoutout please!
When I do the Basic X entry the cross in the back keeps going lower and then I can't go back into my straddle. Any suggestions?
How high / long are your silks?
Just wondering are your silks low stretch cause mine are but I haven’t done the x and I’m just wondering what type you need for it
My silks are medium stretch. Low stretch is perfect for the x!
While doing this I get my silks caught on the side I am pulling up and my legs only come up middway. Do I need to let my legs go back and then swing them forward?
This is such a common mistake! This is happening because you're either bringing your legs slightly closer together as you're inverting which is enabling the silks to slide, or you're not doing a big enough pull up to create the slack needed, or a bit of both :) the full step by step tutorial for this move is on academy.uniqueaerialists.com :)
Can you post a video of how you put ur legs in double foot lock
Hi yes that tutorial is already on my website :) academy.uniqueaerialists.com/courses/locks-and-inverts/lectures/11417613
I'm still struggling with the first one ;(
Hi, the full, in depth tutorial for that transition is on my academy academy.uniqueaerialists.com/ :)
I’m having a lot of trouble on the first one
Hi, the tutorial for that entry was uploaded just before this video :)
How long is your silk
I'm not sure how long hers is but its better to get it long so you can just barely cut off the access at the end!
My ceiling in this studio was about 3 metres, so my silk was 8 metres :)
I call it x back
Aye xD
you should do the cradle in another video but much slower:)
All of my tutorials are here :) academy.uniqueaerialists.com/
