Love Shake was actually a B-Side of their labelmates Dal★Shabet (달샤벳). I do like both songs, perhaps not as much as most of their dreamcatcher stuff, but I find myself listening to love shake from time to time (WDYCTMH occasionally too)…. Binged OT7 version of love shake for a few weeks when it was performed last year.
Sua did look good with short hair. Unfortunately, she disagrees and it's very unlikely she'll ever cut it that short again. She reportedly cried when they cut her hair for her debut in Minx.
Actually, when filming 'Be The Future' (feat. Dreamcatcher, AleXa & IN2IT), JiU and Sua came up with Loveshake. The stage sets of these two MVs are similar.
I like both songs but WDYCTMH is really good, imo. I honestly feel like if the company had done a better job with their promotions and the follow up song was a little better, and not a remake/cover of another groups song, then we might still have Minx around as something like Twice. With that said, im glad we have Dreamcatcher now instead.
dreamcatcher \:D/ ehh I mean minx :D just another genre in their discography, that's all :) they had little to work with from the start but they made both work. when they came back with love shake, the song was actually a remake of their labelmate's b-side. so imagine being them for a second... they having their first comeback but had to use a previously released b-side. that's how you know you've come a long way. inside of tossing them aside like any other company would have done for a failed group, their ceo bet the farm on them and he's a legend for that. that's why I did what I did at their last concert, in case you haven't seen the clip ;)
No, these are not bad at all...but left bad memories for the girls especially Sua, Siyeon, and Dami. The songs are actually quite well-arranged and we can still recognize the girls' amazing voices. Unfortunately, the fresh bubbly concept has been used by too many groups around that era, and the sexy-ish dance & outfit didn't even help (and that's for the better). Anything related to MINX was a taboo for DC members but they slowly accept that as part of their past after they got their first win last year. We even got live OT7 version of Love Shake during their online concert!
