I have a strange relationship with Fairy Tail. I started the manga on a recommendation from a friend and I got really into it. I sorta dabbled in the anime, but I didn't really watch too many episodes. I just felt like the manga was better and the anime had too much of the bad kind of filler to keep me engaged for too long. Eventually I dropped the manga because the writing just got so bad I could not take it anymore. The final straw for me was when there was a timeskip and instead of having that matter, the author goes out of his way to completely invalidate the point of having a time skip. I've heard the writing only gets worse from there so I'm glad I got out when I did. Lol. I could not even begin to list for you the amount of anime I've started and never finished. But I will say one of them is FMA: Brotherhood. And it's specifically because of episode 18. I went into this expecting a faithfull adaptation of the manga and this episode absolutely butchered one of my favorite scenes from the manga. After that, I was like "why am I pushing myself to watch something I hate?" I've heard that once the anime finishes recapping the 2003 series it gets better but dear god that insult to the source material just completely killed any interest I had in Brotherhood. Yes, as a mangareader, I do tend to put impossibly high standards on the adaptations of the source material I read, that's because if the adaptation isn't doing justice to or enhancing the source material, it is a waste of my time. Why would I want to watch a shittier version of a story I've already read? So a good chunk of my unfinished anime list is me going "oh hey, that manga I read got an anime! Neat!" Checking out the first couple eps and then going "meh" and dropping it. That's not to say, I always don't finish anime of manga I've read. I'm caught up with Undead Unluck, Dandadan, Chainsawman, Solo Leveling, JJK, I did finish AOT. Idk what to say about Bleach. I was manga first the entire way through. I picked up that manga at least a year before the anime even got announced. I dropped the anime during one of its very long, drawn out filler arcs and I never went back to it. But, I did start watching Thousand Year Blood War in the anime and am both caught up and eagerly awaiting the final cour. I guess even if I do watch all of the final season when it airs, I can never really say I "finished" the anime since I skipped 1.5 canon arcs. Lol. I've heard the anime does a really poor job adapting the canon material I skipped, so I have zero motivation to go back and watch a worse version of my second favorite arc in the manga. Lol.
Old man from the 90s here. Dont sweat it too much. There a re plenty of anime that I dont like or couldnt finish that people STAN. I didnt finish Naruto either because it was all filler after a certain point. Same with Bleach. I like to pretend filler doesnt exist.
i stopped watching anime, motivation has been gone for a few years now (2-3 years), i watched 1 anime this year, mobile suit gundam the origin. i mostly read scanlations, that works better for me.
I preferred RahXephon over Evangelion myself though I do have both in my library. Yes the 2 are quite similar, you could say Rah is a clone while at the same time it is a biut different.
This is a surprisingly high quality video... Nice work!
not the chirp 13 seconds into the video...
UA-cam is hard good luck man! ❤

As an Evangelion fan I still havent seen RahXehphon. I always was wary of it as simply a clone of the series.

@@ShadowCthulhu I hear that. Its in my list to watch someday. I've heard good things about it though!
