- This video is an introduction to the Junkbots Lesson Plan, in which your students will learn about circuits and engineering design while building robots from recycled materials. Classroom pack of electronic materials available here: www.homesciencetools.com/prod...
To view written instructions for this project, see this page at Science Buddies: www.sciencebuddies.org/lesson...

What other materials can I use instead of a bottle cork
Pretty much anything that you can attach to the motor shaft to create an off-center weight will work. You can use hot glue to attach materials that you can't press-fit onto the shaft.
How do you make them move in a straight line?
While not impossible, it is difficult to make a junkbot that moves in a straight line. It helps if you angle the "legs" backwards and then adjust them to see if you can make the robot steer more left or right to correct any drift in direction.
Nice
What type of batteries do ya need?
This project uses AA batteries. They are included in the kit linked in the description.
From where do I buy these items
Please see the links in the video description!
