Restart your console and you should be back to normal without software or Firmware automatically starts the download.
I'd love to see a tutorial on how to upgrade the HDD of a hacked PS4 and how to backup and restore as much of the data as possible. I've been wanting to upgrade the internal drive to an SSD but keep hesitating because I have a legit activated account with PSVita remote play and other features activated. It seems like it would be a nightmare to get everything back up and running after the upgrade.
thats almost useless ps4 fat/slim uses sata2 thats 3gbit/s so dosnt matter u add hdd 6gbit/s or ssd it wont go faster then 3gbit cuz sata2...only noticable diference is ps4 booting time.and in huge size games loading speed like 10 seconds faster? if game takes 30 gb so load speed will be like 1-2 seconds faster... if u stil want to updage to ssd use it as external drive.. cuz usb 3.0 has 5gbit/s so it will be faster
@@deimantasbaltrusaitis8688 Dude, I went from 15-20 second loading times in Bloodborne to 3 seconds. The proof is in the pudding. The bottleneck you are referring to applies to extremely fast SSD like the Samsung evo where the CPU and Mobo ps4 cannot keep up.
I upgraded my hdd to 1tb. Now, after I restored my backup. I can't play my installed games from PSN, its locked. It needed to be online to start. How I wish I dumped my games, so I can still install and access it after the upgrade. Poor Persona 5 Royal save.
@@paulbarcos Don't worry! :) You can still go into the HDD and fetch 'em if you know what you're doing. Add a hardware casing to your HDD, along with USB inputs, and connect it to the computer.
Second reply on this video. Neither options work for me, at all. All I want to do is be able to copy saves from my console to a USB drive, I know the Apollo Save Tool also does this, but just being able to do it in the PS4 system would be so much easier. The offline activator, does nothing. Going to the website and selecting Web Activator just brings up lots of blank boxes, with no option to do anything at all. The Offline Account Activator tool sends back an error saying "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" I have gone through everything, multiple times. I have done the jailbreak from 3 different hosts, and I still get the same results. Please can you look into this, cos I really don't understand why it is so simple for you, but near impossible for me (and other people in the comments) to get this to work. I had the same issue. Everything slowed down in browser after changing the menu by editing app.db . Revert to the original one. Also the issue appears when you make a lot of folders.

You can't. You have to have the same PSN ID on both consoles to use PS4 saves. I hope we get offline account activation on PS5 soon? Can't do anything until that happens.

Doesn't seem like it. Been looking for a solution for hours besides the one where you get the links from your entitlement.db file and redownload/rebuild the packages yourself... if you found a solution I'm all ears.

Idk what is going on but I am doing everything you do and when I get to connecting the activator from my laptop the PS4 freezes and has to be unplugged from power to do anything. A couple times it froze after hitting get users. Any idea what's going on?
@@coronaextra667 I didn't get that fixed but instead of trying to do it remotely I just went with his first instructions and typed the info in manually on the PS4 and it worked that way fine....just got to make sure you type it in correctly. Hope that helps
What about games that don't have a save game or aren't saved, for example? With Black Ops 3 Zombie, the progress itself is saved without a file, is it then saved via the ID?
I recently updated to 9.00 and all previous installed games from 7.55 was missing, had to do research on it as i didn't see it here bud, thought i had to reinstall everything lol

Is not possible for now, you'll need to uninstall the games and dump the disc or install fpkgs to play those games

Hello. I have a question. I have two games [the division and Drstyni i have the physical version] when i Start the games they want a psn conection. When i want create a psn account the ps4 say that i need to update the Console. But when i Update the Consle, i will loose my jailbreak. I try the Ootion in this Video. In my Profile i can push the option Button, so it works, but i can not start the games. What i did wrong. Can you help me or must i realy Update the console. Thanks

Just update to 9.00, I was on 5.05 and its a waste of time to back port games. I just keep my PS4 in rest mode and forgot I even need to jailbreak it.

1. The new method need a usb to jailbreak
2. It's not worth to play about 2 or 3 games "for me" to updated to the 9.00 firmware
@@Motazokasha1 then just wait for those 2 or 3 games to be backported, it's not worth doing it by yourself for just 2 or 3 games
@@schupak1783 🤔one of those games are already backported but with its update, and size of the update is huge "more than 30gb", so I need to backport the base game itself

Doesn't seem like it. Been looking for a solution for hours besides the one where you get the links from your entitlement.db file and redownload/rebuild the packages yourself... if you found a solution I'm all ears.

@@adrianmiras5916 You can always get a fpkg for it. I was just trying to see if there was a way to renew licenses without redownloading the whole pkgs but sadly seems you need to connect to psn
@@Laenthor so I know my games on my external hard drive won't work cause the psn but how would I turn them into a fpkg if it's it's digital download? Or can you not without disc?

not sure why but I only get errors while using the ps4 activator tool, tried many different attempts at a fix but nothing seems to be working 🤠
same here, it crashes when i click 'get users'. any fix you found yet? i tried it on both mac and windows and can't get passed 'get users'.
@@introdeity yep same here, it connects fine but pressing “get users” makes my console crash the the program crash. can’t seem to find any fixes, guess I’ll just try another way.

Can you access save cloud on a Jailbroken PS4? For example i want to download my AC Valhalla PC save from the ubisoft's cloud server.
Idk what is going on but I am doing everything you do and when I get to connecting the activator from my laptop the PS4 freezes and has to be unplugged from power to do anything. A couple times it froze after hitting get users. Any idea what's going on?

@@coronaextra667 I didn't get that fixed but instead of trying to do it remotely I just went with his first instructions and typed the info in manually on the PS4 and it worked that way fine....just got to make sure you type it in correctly. Hope that helps
What about games that don't have a save game or aren't saved, for example? With Black Ops 3 Zombie, the progress itself is saved without a file, is it then saved via the ID?
