Mildly related, I hate how punishing running out of stamina is when the bar always feels too small. I like current fortnite but I miss the "always available but slightly slower" sprint from older seasons honestly
True, I will forever hate the new movement due to this change, it feels like your character is walking through molasses now On a side note, I think if they're gonna keep this slow ahh base movement, that players should be allowed to build while sprinting, as we've seen more and more items get use while in Tactical Sprint, so I feel like being allowed to build while sprinting would be nice, makes fights a bit faster and I think being able to ramp rush like this would be funny XD
@cjlite0210 building while sprinting would be a nightmare and would widen the already insane skill gap between the mid and high levels, no one really wants to get ramp rushed at twice the speed it currently happens
Sprinting was absolutely a mechanic designed to make zero-build playable and they just never saw a reason to not have it in build mode. I do think it makes build fights a lot faster and more fun to watch when pros use it well though.
I say the problem arises in close combat: when you're sprinting you try to mess up your enemies aim giving you a chance to shoot but at the same time you lose the chance to shoot them so if they wait until you lose momentum or even hit you while you're sprinting the fight is lost.
My take away from this of which I totally agree: - Stop using sprint mid fight (face to face), use it to progress the fight, get to better positioning faster, or sprint jumping to get to higher elevation, unless using for “peeker’s advantage” - sprint slide/sprint jump/tap sprint instead of full on sprinting to eliminate pullout delay and inability to shoot/build - sprinting is used to move faster, outside of fights when looting/rotating or to pressure/get out of a fight, not during a fight (basically the first point) Basically: during fights, use sprinting to create momentum to move faster instead of full on sprinting
Yo Reisshub, i've been using the training hub almost everyday and i have a light request. Can you maybe add a tunel drill? Or somehat like a tarp drill? The map is really good for everything excapt that one thing. For feedback elsewhere, the edit courses could be more like 1 or 2 more would be great. The map really helped me get better in everything. Good work so far to you and your building Team 👍🔥
In my opinion, "small" weapons (pistols, revolvers, hand cannons etc) and most consumables (bandages, minis, etc) should be kept in your hand while sprinting, without the Pull out delay. If it makes sense to hold one handed, you could sprint with it.
Sprint jumping is really good for changing directions on a dime, sprint in general sucks, sprint sliding or micheal jacksoning is really good for small rotates.
The vast majority of players myself included haven't taken the time to properly implement sprinting into our gameplay. I recently started actively thinking about how and when I sprint during freebuilds and PGs. When mastered I don't think it's overrated necessarily, and anything that increases the skill gap in this game where the average player is pretty decent is a good thing
I wish they disabled the sprint for builds tbh it just overcomplicates things in a very annoying way and is also bait for new-moderate players who think its great to use constantly
this video is actually goind to change my life (in game) I took a long break during chap 3-4 and when I came back I felt like I need to sprint everytime I had it to get the best use. Obviously not haha. training hub time
am i the only one or sometimes when i sprint slide at 3:00 it doesn’t allow me to stop sliding? i kinda have to move my mouse the other way so my character stops moving
I know you're a builds focused channel but could you do one video explaining zero build tactics, I need to explain to my friends that carrying 4 weapon, shields is why we keep fighting in the open vs bunker teams

Well, yeah just about every shooter need faster movement to make up for not being able to put things between their opponent.
sprinting came out way before zero build so, "they just never saw a reason to not have it in build mode" is just false
Sprinting is definitely more important in Zero Build, making you a tougher target to hit. Love the analysis of your video! 🤩
As long as you playing no tournaments yes. If you play tournaments a lot of cheaters

If anyone has ever been stuck in storm you realise how much tatical sprint comes in clutch.
Since zero build was added, the meta changed a lot
For better and sometimes for worse.

nah reisshubs the guy who would want a no sprint gamemode

eversince they changed the movement speed and everything at the start of this chapter ive hated how it all felt
Who remembers when you used to break/jog into the sprint so people weren't using it for fighting. I just loved that version of tactical sprint more
i’ll believe it when i see it bucko
i’m convinced already

But Mr.Reiss, how do I run away from the mega sweats, building castles in the sky, as I look for a bush?
you shoot them back
There’s one way. Zero build. I’m sorry, but that’s the only way.
U dont
Build 4 boxes and play the boxfight
Get better?
Sprinting is just a tool to use in certain situations. It has a skill gap just like any mechanic but it’s not as focused on.
i asked destinyjesus to explain peakers advantage and why it exists and your explanation of it is so good. thanks
It does bring more attention to yourself

Reisshub videos make the day better fr
Very useful infos, small but detailed gameplay mechanics, i love to see it, Reisshub never disappoints!
The animations you make are so smooth! Love it!
This really helped as a player who can't stop sprinting.
Yo reisshub, thanks for explaining desync and peakers advantage. This helps alot

@Reisshub I think you need to spring to get that quick sliding, just possibly.

If we kept this sprinting with the old movement/jogging ...it would be perfect
At 6:20 is that like when you build and you get shot though it or is that based on ping
Im pretty good at the game myself so I’ve never really been punished for sprinting like at all, but the part on dsync was very helpful.
