I looked up her full name online and found her page. I emailed and made an appointment to talk with her; hopefully, she gets back to me.
I am 53 and retired at 50. 1 thing I did do to retire early was to get out of the 401K and IRA programs. Bought rental real-estate and I am now a Limited Partner in about 1500+ units from collabrative efforts in the fund my estate planner has me invested in. I do not work.
I only contribute 5% to get full company match, that’s it. The 401K plan is designed for you to work until you are about dead. Also, the government does not have their hands on it yet either.
My wife and I live off of our 401K. We don't work. I recommend highly to everyone to build your 401K or Roth IRA's as an alternate revenue stream in retirement to your Social Security. An observation on 401K's is when it gets over 300K it starts to accelerate. When you get over 500K it can really accelerate as the stock market grows.
If I may ask, as in withdrew all of the money from the 401K and IRA programs? If so, what was your strategy behind that decision? Thank you.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 1.8million.

In my opinion Investment and trading in this economy is a living hell at times for the average person that wants full control of their finances, Even investing in EFT stocks can be very much risky. Without a financial advisor to tailor strategies and optimize plans for better outcomes for your investments, people miss out on potential investment opportunities that could change the game for them.
The market is pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

I would say I stopped listening and taking financial advise from these UA-camrs, because at the end of the day, I end up with a bunch of confusing stocks without knowing when to take profit, In reality, all I needed was guidance from an expert who truly understood the market.

Reason i invest in the crypto market; to make my money work for me, to prevent inflation from eroding my savings.

I rather invest my money on crypto. Bitcoin trading is great unlike the stock market and other financial markets, bitcoin has no centralised location , since it operates 24hrs in different parts of the world.

I assume this $1.2m in cash flow is based on a 6% cap rate? I would not suggest buying commercial and or residential all cash. You’ll see bigger returns when you leverage and mortgage. First things First, I can't sell my company 100%. Would rather sell 90% and have a 10% stake so that I get something from it every end of it's financial year.

Right, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. During the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m.

HONESTLY: i expect to hear how to deal with money in ways that have nothing to do with being told where or what to spend it on but rather how to spend it on what ever i might think of. that said, i am at 2:48 of the video.

How to calculate financial freedom number? How much money do I need to become financially independent?
$5M is the number for most people living in the West, in less well off countries the number is lower.
The general formula is to figure out how much income you need every year, divide that by 4%, and then make sure the expected return on your investments are above 8%.
Say you need 10K per year. 10K/0.04=250K That'll give you 20K per year from 8% gains, you'll use half of that and the other half will be left in the investments to keep up with inflation. The more you need per year, the more you'll need to invest. The more volatile your investments are, the more you'll need to allocate to cash on hand in order to withstand expected drawdowns. Your numbers will be different of course, you'll need some different income and have some different investment strategy. 5 million is a ridiculous figure, that would provide 200K a year on a 4% withdrawal rate and most people can live on far less than that.
Coast FI is different. If you're not going to withdraw money yet, then you just need to figure out what your FI number is going to be at retirement adjusted for inflation, then use a present value calculator to find out how much you'll need today in order to have that much in the future given your expected rate of return on your investments. The younger you are, the lower your coast FI number is. If you start young enough then you could even calculate retiring at 40 and have a reasonable shot at doing it with a regular job.

I have an upcoming capital commitment raise of $100 million from Alternative investor with very favorable market rate and terms. It is based on our Assets valued at above $3B. I have some executives already wanting handouts to spend that loan money for material items instead of growing the company and going IPO in 5 years to 6X to 8X money? Why so much greed. I prefer the Elon way, no salary just shares. Am I wrong to suggest otherwise and reject there spending habit? I prefer to invest in growth and create the asset flow. For cash flow positive.
