Rudi Völler - 45 goals in Serie A (Roma 1987-1992)

Rudolf "Rudi" Völler, born 13 April 1960 in Hanau (West Germany). 142 games and 45 goals in Serie A, playing as forward with AS Roma for 5 seasons (1987-1992), winning 1990/91 Coppa Italia and finishing runner-up in the same year in Uefa Cup (tournament topscorer).
Völler appeared 90 times (47 goals) for the German national team. He was a member of the team which won the 1990 FIFA World Cup, finishing runner-up
in 1986 World Cup and 1992 Euro Championships (taking part to other 3 major tournaments).
Along with Zagallo, Beckenbauer and Deschamps, Völler has the distinction of reaching a World Cup final as both a player (1986 and 1990) and as a manager (2002).
