Yes but you have to give Palicka some credit, he has been amazing for Sweden
It's not ridiculous imo, and i'm Danish. This wasn't Landin's best tournament, which says a lot about his quality, but the final was his first game with stability across all 60 minutes. He wasn't amazing against Egypt or Spain, but he produced some very crucial saves.
I totally agree Landin literally got an award for being the worlds best handball player, not just gk THE WORLDS BEST HANDBALL PLAYER

Would have loved to see the player from Egypt, Ali Zein. And also the brothers from spain. I feel like there was a lot of amazing players!

Landin solo win vs egypt and after in final, hes only reason to denmark made on final, Kongo dude over frenchman on pivot.

They also judge over the whole tournament, not just the final.
landin didnt have his best tournament. He was unreal in the finals but palicka has been overall better

For those who would have seen Niklas Landin on the GK spot he didnt have his best tournament. Best match was in the finals. Rest was still good, but the swedish gk was better up untill the finals. And this is coming from a dane :) Well played, Sweden. You did really good and put up one hell of a fight in the finals!

Overall it’s a good team, only complaint I have is that Saugstrup should’ve been on it over Fabregas. Had amazing conversion in attack while being a incredibly smart player in the defense.
Like Hell he should have been, Bánhidi is the best pivot in the world and he should have been there
@@bencehriagyel7099 Hmmm yeah probably, I mean I can see the argument for Saugstrup, who really played an amazing tournament. Banhidi played amazing as always of course, though I would say Saugstrup might actually have done it slightly better in defense? But there is no denying Banhidi as perhaps the greatest Pivot in the world. Truly a terror to play against. All I know is that Fabregas did not deserve that spot ... he played fine ... but he didnt have an all start tournament.

I’d make two changes:
1) Saugstrup over Fabrigas - yes F get’s a lot of penalty shots, but S actually hit the goal and didn’t need them. He was incredible.
2) Landin over Palicka. P was defintly amazing!! Huge fan. But the way Landin played in the last 30-40 minuts against Egypt was so fantastic.... i couldn’t even comprehent it. Inhumain. The final, Landin has a saving-% of 40 and Palicka is “only” 25, so it also gives.
Everything is ok, but saugostrup and fabregas replace

Player of the tournament for me was Hampus Wanne. It was great for Sweden to have such a reliable left wing, that also scores on the penalties

I think this illustrates how important advancement in the tournament is to make it on the AST. Relatively, I believe Andy Schmid is crucial to Switzerland, while Denmark can perform without Mikkel Hansen. Mikkel Hansen is an amazing player, but Schmid carries his entire team in a very different way.

To everyone that says Landin over Palicka, I disagree. Landin was a monster in the final game against Sweden and was decent against Egypt Palicka was doing something incredible every match of the tournament expect for the final which he was a bit unlucky.

Sagosen has the most assists, the second most goals, the highest scoring rating and carried nearly every norway match. How can HE be not in the allstar team.
Hansen and Gottfriedson... Both led their Team to the final/Championship. Cant hardly argue with that. Right Back is debateble... Pure Skill U have to Go with dushebaev, and spain got Bronze...
Alex Dujshebaev deserved the right back over Gidsel, and Magnus Saustrup deserved the pivot
Bjan Saugstrup yes. But Gidsel very much deserved a spot. Maybe the best player in the tournament and could’ve been the MVP had he not been so young. They don’t have the balls to give it to a young player. And also, Gidsel was insane in the semi final where he overshined Dujshebaev and that’s one of the reasons Denmark ended in the final.

No Dushevabajev is a joke to be honest. Way more impact on the game than Gidsel who still played good. Otherwise good choices

Gidsel played great but most of the time he just had to play the 2 vs 1 because the other players were able to give him lots of space.
Dushebajev had more impact imo and it was a lot harder for him to score/ make plays. Also he had an important role in Spain’s 5-1 Defense.
Just my opinion, you can have yours.
Gidsel score 39 goals, Alex score less, if you don't believe go to IHF official or wikipedia, that was the main reason.
@@deniszadravec5677 Never was in doubt about Gidsel scored more goals. Gidsel goals + assists = 66. Dushevajed goals + assists = 64 in worse team + huge role in Defense.
