charli xcx could honestly be a cast member. I really don't know anything about her but she did better than even some of the most well-known actors when they host.
Bowen living in Montreal really gave his french canadian accent some authenticity. His swears were perfect, tabarnak. And the bonhomme cameo was excellent.
I have been waiting FOR YEARS for another episode of "Bonjour Hi!". SNL-- you have brightened my week!! Suggestion: in a subsequent episode, have one of the French hosts be smoking like Kate McKinnon did. (Also, another episode of "Drake Watch" would be nice.). 🤪😂🥰

Hahaha-I taught university outside the USA and I was NOT asked to contribute to a course on American culture for exchange students to the USA. All the instructors were Dutch 😜
Always glad to see more cut pieces. I would have put this in over the impressions or the Thanksgiving sketch. Charli's a lot of fun here. Maybe her best role of the night. If this seems familiar to anyone the show originally did this with Issa Rae.
Depends on scheduling mainly, they wanna fill their channel block with as much as they can, sometimes they overshoot more than necessary, and they’ll have stuff leftover to repost or save for another episode where the same actors are present
They do more on the dress rehearsal and see what works and what doesn't as far as time and audience reception. This was hilarious, but maybe it just ran too long and didn't work with other stuff they had planned.
This sketch was pretty funny. It could’ve easily replaced any of the post-update sketches for this episode. Sometimes it baffles me what they cut vs. what they keep. But, different strokes and all…. 😊
why did they cut this this is better than half the sketches that made it! Chloe's Quebecois accent is amazing
Shockingly accurate. I speak French and it took my ears so long to get used to Canadian French when I was in Montreal.
The accents here are in no way close to Canadian French, though. Bowen's the least bad of them, but even his is pretty terrible.
It's French with lots of spit in your mouth. Like a llama. Ready to unload at anytime.
It's okay, most people in France would rather you speak English than hear your accented French. Lol
@bufordhighwater9872 i don't speak French. I respect people that can do it correctly. Like an educated, cultured person. Not an uncouth peasant.
@ You seem nice. Anyway, we’re not speaking for them or for you.
damn they had a ton of sketches this week! A+ episode.
I think was dress rehearsal but yes. Some of the best comedy writers in the world.
Snl blows now
worst rated episode in a while lol
It wasn't a good episode but Charli did well
change that to an F and you got it
I am full French Canadian and I appreciate the accuracy and attention to detail here. Very well done

A true shame that this was cut for time. Mikey day plays the best straight man.

Impressive performance by Charlie XCX. That girl has some decent acting chops.

Charli’s French Canadian accent really got me going off. It’s so funny.
"Au revoir-Bye to Bonjour-Hi!" was unexpectedly perfect! Magnifique, Monsieur Jean-Lawrence et Mademoiselle Sophie-Eboné!

Charli XCX feels like just a regular cast member, not a guest. She definitely needs to make her way into the five timers club.
Why are the sketches they cut "for time" so often funnier, better written/acted and superior to so many of those in the live show?
It seems like this bombed in studio but I loved it
