Zeos, this is from the question/answer section on the Sivga P-II page on Amazon: What is the difference between this and the Sendy Audio Aiva? Answer: Hi friend, we owned this two brands, the sound of AIVA and P-Ⅱis very similar but little difference in style. AIVA is more fancy and elegant, so the production cost is higher than P-Ⅱ. Hope this can help you. Best wishes By SIVGA Seller on January 19, 2020 The Sendy uses Zebra wood and the Sivga's use Walnut. Cables look to be nicer on the Sendy's too. Fyi.....the same company also owns and makes the BLON B20's. ...and now you know the rest of the story (Paul Harvey).....Good Day!
See cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0888/2348/files/A_Comparison_Between_AIVA_and_P-II_by_SIVGA-2.pdf The SIVGA's diaphragm is 15 microns compared to just 3 in the Sendy. SIVGA is warmer and has more bass.
a little late, but i have the sivgas, my roomate has the sundara, i listened to them both (obviously), to me they sound exactly the same, BUT, the sivgas have just a touch more bass, just a touch
I say from experience I've had both of these from Amazon for a month and I think the Sivga p-11s are better in my opinion. The only thing the Sendys have that's better is I think they use real wood on their cups as the Sivga seems like a simulated finish, and the case fits smaller which looks nicer and .... That's it. I think the sound is better on the Sivgas although that's subjective the head strap is hands down better than the sendys, I can't say as to which one will fail over time the sendy uses friction to hold the strap in place, and the Sivga seems to have some stretchy material inside the head strap or at least is what it seems like but it's an exact fit every time no adjusting. I'm also more fond of the cup angle on the Sivgas the Sendys sit at an angle I thought this would suit me but the Sendys and nicer in that regard. Also the strain relief is a metal on the Sivgas which is better imo it holds the strain better and will stand the test of time compared to the wood strain relief on the Sendys. Oh and the Sivgas cups rotate a full 180 degrees this I a really nice feature the Sendys don't have they only rotate what 30 degrees so they don't even rest flat on a table this may not matter to some all in all they are relatively the same headphone I picked mine up with a 30 day return policy and the Sendys are going back to each their own they are both outstanding headphones
Yet another funny thing is the newer Sivga Phoenix cans come with what appear to be the *exact* same "butt-case that teh Sendys come with that you showed in this video. I just caved and picked up the P-IIs but they didn't last long in my house. There was (as I later read some other reviewers had experienced) a just awful 700-800hz peak-y-ness that periodically made me feel like my eyes were being poked. EQ'ing tamed it but still annoying and I just refused to EQ a set *that* much right out of the gate. Oh well. Back they went.
Just from you talking about these heaphones, they seeem comparable to the Sennheiser Hd 500/550/660s. I dont have any of those but im wondering which sounds closest to the sendys or if you (or any one else with sendys, sivgas or the blons and some HD series)ike the sendys straight up more than any of the HD series. Also i love the daily uloads! Great work :D
Z, Can I (we) get a cable that will go from these earcups to a standard 1/4" plug, so we don't have to use two adaptors to plug these into a "normal" amp? Also: how do these fly on tubes? BTW - saw you at Cam Jam 2020. To your followers: yes, he was personable and a pleasure to talk to. I told you that I appreciate your honest reviews. I like a reviewer that can say a cheaper product can be better than an expensive one; because sometimes that actually DOES happen. Keep up the great work!
I seriously doubt these Sivgas are more detailed. The problem with the 4XX is their shallow, small-opening stock pads. With ZMF Perforated Micro Suede Pads installed, the 4XX provides a shocking amount of detail and sound-stage... at the expense of loosing some bass solidity and quantity. At $130, the 4XX is the clear winner over the $400 Sivgas if detail is a priority. Just make sure you have a reasonably-powerful amp.
You can get those same pads for $9 and all the sendy clones are great for gaming. Been gaming in them since I got one of the clones and they are one of the best for gaming. That wax feeling is China grease. I gave mine a hand wash and now the fabric is beautifully soft. I wasn't a fan of the sound change though. I bought them months ago and more sellers picked them up and sell them for more but that $8.55 prime shipped is still around though.
I wonder if the sundara or these would be better for gaming. I'm very tempted to get the Sivga's for music and just use my AKG 7xx for gaming. I have some HD58x's but those are coming to work with me once my Topping DX3 pro ldac shows up. Just for reference at home I use an El Dac and smsl sp200. Thinking about swapping the El Dac for a balanced dac though. Freaking Zeos keeps finding things for me to buy.
Z, do these have that tinny midrange issue like the m570s have? I had to send my m570s back for a refund. Music was amazing to listen to, but any vocals would drive me insane.
I bought these 2 weeks ago with xmas Amazon gift cards . I like these a lot, which is weird cause I'm normally treble sensitive, but damn if these don't sound amazing. No treble fatigue at all. The bass was just enough to keep me happy. Only issue is the small dip in the mids, but it is not a deal breaker. I just wish the pads were more comfortable to me for longer term listening and gaming sessions. ZMF Perforated Universe Suede pads are the only ones I've had minor success with. I'm thinking maybe a fazor mod with the zmf pads would be a game changer.
OK, so I have the Sivga P-II, AKG 7xx, and HD58x. Tried them out with the GSX1000 and EL Dac with SMSL P200. Gaming, MP FPS I prefer the GSX 1000 with the AKG 7xx. I find it easier to footstep whore and pinpoint people (mostly COD MW). The GSX 1000 can power the Sivga P-II, 50% volume is loud for me. Music surprisingly is actually passable with the GSX 1000 and Sivga's where I hate it on the AKG and HD58x. Non MP FPS games they all sound decent. I really like Bioshock Infinite with the Sivga's. I'm probably leaning towards the Sivga's and HD58x, with the AKG bringing up the rear for general for non MP FPS gaming. Same with music, Sivga's are excellent in just about everything I tried and I tried everything from Julie London to Rage Against the Machine, Don Henley, Iggy Pop, Joan Jett, Tom Petty, Cheap Trick, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Megadeth, and A-Ha. The HD58x is a close second, I really like the vocals with the Sennheisers. AKG 7xx only really sounded good on a couple of tracks, I found the vocals to recessed for my taste. I also tried Dolby atmos for headphones in games, but didn't really like it with anything. It was probably best with the HD58x, they don't have the widest sound stage but I feel like they are a little more accurate. Atmos is base heavy which messes with the AKG's too much and makes them a muddy mess for me, and the Sivga's fell in between somewhere. I got the new pads for the sivga's but haven't installed them yet. The sivga's have a nice balanced sound in music, doesn't cause me any fatigue, very enjoyable. Sometimes the HD58x and AKG's can wear on me depending the type of music, though I prefer the HD58x's to the AKG's. Much like everything, I just don't feel like there is a One set of cans to rule them all! Each has a place. If I was going to pick just one... It would be the Sivga's, though I wouldn't feel bad with the HD58x's. The AKG's kind of fall off in the distance. I could game and listen to music with the Sivga's and Sennheisers and be perfectly happy, I don't think I'd be happy with the AKG's for music very long. They remind me of the Sennheiser GSP 500's I gave away, good for gaming but kind of a one trick pony.
Tried the different ear pads, no thanks! Several of my favorite songs picked up a nasty sibilance (acoustic version of Chris Cornell's Blackhole Sun for example). They got yanked after a few songs.
My blon b20 from drop at $350 came with the sendy style pads, non perferated. The color of the wood is darker than your blons too. Closer to the sendy's wood color. And, my headphones came in a rectangle hard case. Where my blon bl-03 are bassy fun sounding. The b20 is a perfect compliment with crazy detail in the highs. These lack the fun bass power. You can tell the b20 is tuned flat until you get the 3k bump. Nice detailed bass, but more would bring these to god tier end game level. Adding wider pads takes a little detail away and looses the magic in the highs these have. Crazy thing is, with a little tuning, my $25 bl-03 is almost better for my style of listening.
My Sendy's are to arrive today according to FedEx. Granted, I got mine off Drop for $450. So, I got the originals because I can. My Hart Audio Cables are also on the way. I guess you could say I jumped into the deep end of the audiophile pool. *CANNON BALL!*
so Does using the P1 count. Worth every penny but NDH20 are better because I need the audio to go through every area of my ear to enjoy it more than just using a headphone or IEM to go to a super market etc
these headphones have a huge minus about which not a word is said - they have very high frequencies, they are metallic and not natural. you can listen to these headphones for a couple of days after - they start to strain
Having listened to both blon b20s and DT 1990s, the DT 1990s are more precise and clear in all frequency ranges. The bass on the Blons are good, including male vocals, but every other frequency sounds less detailed in comparison.
Do you still have the Takstar HF-580 to test with these Seny/BLON/Sivga pads? The chatter is that, plus some thin fabric placed into the housing behind the driver make the world of difference in cleaning up the sound for these drivers. Would be interested to hear how much closer (if at all) that takes the Takstars to these options.
Z Reviews, love your channel and your approach. I respect your opinion on products and was wondering if you can do a review on the Kali in-8? No one has a sound demo on this product that's supposed to be amazing at their price point. Thanks for taking the time making these videos!
The Zeos Challenge. Take all three headphones and record just two songs of choice and compare them in a blind ( where z mixes the cables) test. Bring it on Z. Your fans would appreciate it. It's not very often you have that many look and sound a likes together at one time.
why why why would people make "spring"-loaded headbands. Hate them. they droop by the weight of the drivers, not where your ears might be..... Sad. Used my x2s fewer times because of that, and then I sewed it together for my favoured position
If the clamp is high enough they work perfectly together. Im rocking a set of Acoustic Research Planar and they have the same system. But works perfectly, Drivers are lighter, Clamp is better.

Loving these Sivgas P-II untill I put those new pads on Z, afterwards the Sivgas fell apart. They rang like a cheap church bell. I removed the pads you recommended and put the original pads back on and the magic was back. Took me a while to realize it was the new pads causing the constant ringing. But still, I am in love with my Sivgas P-II.
but are you? Please? Are you going to China and with 10K for a ZeeAudio Special LE 987 Thx (Sendy Aiva based) Edition headphone for 299% free shipping worldwide limited life warranty? Pretty please? Oh, and make the soundstage a bit wider with a tad extra slam (omg I said slam) on the bass, and don't forget the transients and the perfect bit filter.
Freaking hilarious that Chinese brands are copying each other and having this price war against themselves LOL. That's why in the long run nothing of great quality can maintain from China... Give it a few months and years, then the quality will start to dip due to the decreased pricing

but are you?
