The combo of glue and nails will hold up longer and to more abuse. Remember pulling a full frame of honey out of your box will have 20+ lbs of weight hanging from those little nails.
Thank you for posting this. The instructions were not done well. This video was super helpful.
Glad to help 😁
Well made product, but the instructions is crap.
Thank you. I was having trouble with assembly. After watching your video, everything is clear now.😊
I just got my hive the other day and found your video. So much help. Thank you for doing this. It helps so much!❤
Glad to help!!
Thanks ; I couldn’t figure out how to slide the dovetail joints together .!👍👍
Great video ! 👍
Glad it helped!
You are the first person to correctly assemble the dovetail joint by pushing it in sideways, not TAKING a hammer and hit it.

What is the glue for? Can you just nail the frame?
I got 2 pieces of metal stainless steel angle 8" long with holes in it with my hive. Dont know what they are for.
I honestly have no idea. Is it a bee castle hive?
What is the size of the nail for the frames?
Not sure. They are really small. They send them with.
Working on my frames now. If I can do this, ANYONE can do this!
You got this!
Where's the bottom board?
If you buy the hive kit it will come with the bottom board but nothing needs assembled with it. You can check it out in my unboxing video
Mine also did not have any screws..just a bunch of long nails..i bought bee castle off amazon...wtf
The nails are for the frames. Definitely need the screws for the boxes. They are 1” wood screws if you want to source them yourself
Mine came with ZERO INSTRUCTIONS...ZERO
