@brandonfulcomer2924 that's the odd part. Autotune has NO business in The Strokes catalogue, besides drag queen. Other than that, Autotune was something Julian used when he created The Voidz. Hell, the bands known for its experimental sound. So why is he using autotune in The Strokes? I just think it's unnecessary, and hinders the experience, but that's just me.
@@danauburn1119 He used it on At the Door (on the album) and it sounded good on You're So Right when they performed it last year. Part of me thinks he wants to re-record Angles with all autotune lol
@brandonfulcomer2924 wait, At the Door has autotune? Wtff...to be fair, i haven't listened to that song since release. When does it kick in? The end? The Stroke songs are known for Julian's clean long drawn out notes/vocals. You're So Right is a fucking banger!!! They played that???? Holy shit. Hah, maybe your right about angles wanting to be re-recorded w/ autotune hah. I'll have to check this out, thanks.
He needs to find a way to get his autotune to be dialed to the lowest possible setting because it's true. However if you listen to the actual album Life Is Simple has a vocoder effect in there so I know he's using the autotune to match that sound but it's not quite right. I think it would be better without the idea altogether and I think his raw vocals might cut through the song far better.
I like how crowd was quiet when this was played 😹 , underrated gem

The autotune really hindered the performance, im not gonna lie. Also, nick looks visually pissed at his pedal in the opening lol
Julian has been spamming the autotune since the second Voidz album it seems. Looks like Nick was playing the keyboard parts on the pedals
