Definitely my kind of car. Roomy, comfortable, versatile, discreet. Going fast on the highway is obsolete by now, with all those speed traps and hidden cameras.
Thanks for sharing. Usually get the Zafira but only only possible to get Combo Life now which I wasn’t too keen on before watching this, more confident now. Zafira has a real blind spot driver side windscreen. Having disabled dad, I’m disabled, a teenager son and 3 grandkids I really do rely on the secure locks and controls for back from driver position so that’ll be something I’ll have to check with Vauxhall as we’re in the north. I really appreciate your time and assistance making this video
Julie Anne Myers, Just seen your comment, if you are still looking at the Combo life, go for the long wheelbase, it’s a brilliant motor, loads of room and great to drive to, unfortunately if you require the automatic you will have to go for the five seater, they don’t do the automatic in the long wheel base, it’s a great motor, and it’s a lot better than the Zafira.
I guess not much has changed over past few years on the Combo Life. I have planned a trip to Ireland from Texas and have rented the Combo Life from Avis. This vid was very helpful to me as I prepare for this experience. There will be 6 adults with luggage and I looks like this vehicle will be adequate for us. I am looking forward to the adventure.
Looking at doing the same thing, was there enough room for passengers and luggage? Asked the rental company if one of the third row seats can be removed for our trip, waiting for reply.
@@dougjustus1333 The trip was great! the Combo Life did have enough room for our 6 passengers and luggage. The longest trip away from out base was three days so we did not have to pack a whole lot. Many of the roads we travelled were quite narrow and the Combo Life is quite large which made it tricky with oncoming vehicles. I would definitely rent one again.
I own this car in real life, the engine breaks down every 150 thousand kilometers, don't recommend XD it's a manufacturing defect present in every car with the same engine as the 2020 opel combo life.
It would be great to see all the functions and controls fusebox engine compartment on the combi life thanks.very informative and useful information for anyone who has a combi life or wishes to own one.keep up the good work.
Great video, I have just bought a Combo Life XL SE in the UK which has the split window and electric windows in the back which is a bonus as the Energy doesn't get either of those features 👍 the outside has grown on me whilst I have been looking for one over the last month.
I'm so so sorry for you!!! The engine breaks down every 150 thousand kilometers, it's a manufacturing defect present in every car with the same engine as the 2020 opel combo life.
I tested Peugeot Rifter Long and the third row is adjustable there - you can move it back and forth. As a result adult can comfortably seat there without any issue. It's really strange that there is no such thing in Opel.
This is a rebadged Citroen Berlingo. There are 3 sizes, the short one, the long one and the extended wheelbase xl one This is more of a cargo van while the xl would be more of a people transportion van. At least it's usually like this in Portugal where I live (this car is very popular in Spain and Portugal)
Opel is such a good, good make but this time they forgot about the Auto version of the COMBO LIFE which most people would have applauded,I just wish the company could be alerted of this at least in SOUTH AFRICA
Lots of problems after 12 months use, radio and morning dampness, panels popping out, window switch breaking and falling into door panel. Pictures and videos to support this.
And the engine breaks down every 150 thousand kilometers, it's a manufacturing defect present in every car with the same engine as the 2020 opel combo life.
PSA needs to offer this as an EV; there seems to be enough space under the floor for a battery pack. Perhaps they could use a similar motor and battery pack as in the eCorsa (100 kW, 50kWh, 205 mile range).
I want something like this I can put a double mattress in the back so me and my wife can sleep in it. Does anybody know if the middle three seats can be removed, or, if a mattress would fit in with the three middle seats pushed forward?
Thank you so much for this. I am seriously looking at this car. A campervan is out of reach at the mo and I think this might fit the bill. I think it is very cute! 😋

I viewed this video to decide whether the Combo worked as a rental. It helped a lot. It also helped planning for luggage. Great video.
I've had this car for a year and never knew about the rear window or the plug 🤣😱 so thaaanks!
Well now you know ;)

There is a Zafira Life coming too, just to bear in mind.

nothing beats the Zafira A (2001~2004). amazing car.
Zafira B was horrible in build quality.
Zafira C (tourer) was fine apparently, a bit pricy though. sadly they stopped it in 2018.
looking to get one on motability, usually get the zafia, seems very family friendly and practical, thank you for the review
Didn't expect to see you here, I follow you on tik tok lol

Cibulino it’s not problem of Opel, it’s problem of short version.
@@robertinno sorry. didn't notice this difference.

Could you compare with Proace City Verso Long? which is better to buy? I know that Opel is cheaper
Great review. So how is the third row compared to eg. The grand Picasso? Have heard that the middle row can slide forward in the 7 seat version.
No worse than any 7 seater to be fair to it!

Plenty for sale with 2 or 3 owners already. That says it all

What is the interest rat you give Eddie in the movie of limitless?
You can’t have the panoramic sunroof in the XL or M 7 seater version 😢
Is the car the same as the van version except for the windows and seats, or does the van have eg different load/drive/other capabilities?
It's a passenger version of the van really with more comforts.
Nobby On Cars Thanks. Thinking of buying one for RV use. Haven’t decided on crew van or car (life) version.
@@Zalley crew vans have generally have less rear leg room so worth checking.
Nobby On Cars OK , thanks v much for the info - will look into 👍

Easily done I think too!
EV version would be very limiting.
Nobby, have you reviewed the ev version?
No! I must check it out
@NobbyOnCars I was just interested on your take

You could take a wrench and remove the middle seats but not the way you can remove the rear ones, no.
Could not see inside the boot properly because you never focused on the dark area inside
Turn up the brightness on your screen 😉
Nobby On Cars thanks nobby doesn't work as you know

He's lying about rear 2 seats..Notice he doesn't show anything hides behind 2nd row..its perfect for 2 adults in back
You don’t get 34,000 subs and 400,000 views per month lying in videos you absolute clown.
......(It’s not a Van).... 😂😂
Cant see you in the back too dark 💩👎
