I really love what Agathe and Anton have created with this home. They definitely seem to share my love of symmetry! And so amazing is that table?! We hope you enjoy this episode. With love, Bryce & Rasa
Thanks for the video! You and Rasa are doing such a great job on these “remote” videos! Congratulations on finding such a great way to pivot when travel is difficult! You have just done an amazing job!
Their craftsmanship is amazing! That coffee/dining table is one stunning piece of modern art furniture - I would buy this clever and beautiful design in a heartbeat!
French people use to say "in France, we don't have oil, but we have ideas". It says it all here. You can feel they have given all they could into this house and that latter is giving back so much joy to them. They looks sincerely happy. This place has a soul 👌
I love how you have adapted to the restrictions on travel. They could talk about their home and how they built it, but it's the the same kind of visit you would film if you were able to be there. So sad that France doesn't let people live this way legally. Well done!
If the government don't want people living in a tiny house, Why don't they implement price control on normal housing or provide housing free of charge? senseless over reach imo
Regulations heavily restrict freedoms. I understand having some basic building codes though, there are some baselines. Just let people live how they want with minimal government involvement.
They didn't say it's illegal. It's _complicated_ depending on wether it's a mobile one or a fix one, the size of it, how long you intend on staying (like up to 3 months or more)... What does the town/city say on the topic? Do you need/have a permit? There's certainly more to know, I'm no expert, but I've heard that much
@@everythingiseverything9920 yes exactly, there is actually a recent law (called "loi Alur")in France about movable housing, and it all depends on the size of the house (if under 20 square meters of ground surface you don't need a permit), how long you want to stay in the land etc. Technically though you need to own the land you want to stay on
Of the ungodly amount of tiny house videos I've watched over the years, this really must be my favourite. Such a wonderful design, and an even more wonderful couple behind it. Hats of to them, and thank you so much for the video!
I feel the same! Didn‘t expected such an amazing and clever design and such a beautiful energy in this video! But it’s absolutely one of my favorites!! Thanks again to this lovely UA-cam Channel that brings to us the most wonderful tiny houses and people
I really have a soft spot for tiny houses where the exterior is like a work of art rather than a simple box, hats off the makers because they sure did damn good job at making such a visually stunning house!
What a wonderfully designed tiny house. I love that roofline and the difference it creates inside. That table design is really clever! The cat coming through the cat door was another highlight of the video. What a beauty. Lol. I could see Bryce and Rasa wishing they could see this one in person. (And Bryce hanging out on the upstairs rope floor!) Btw, Ioved the opening shot descending over the front of the house! Sweet piece of videography. A very sweet couple with a great philosophy.
So much good to say about this. Gorgeous design, slick workmanship, clever coffee table and cutest couple ever. And your English is better than you think. No need to apologise when you are clever enough to have a second language at all.
Looks like the French have the same issues as those of us who'd love a tiny home in the UK. House prices are only going to get worse, it's time that the officials in both countries work it out and all tiny houses their place in planning law. Fabulous house and it's great to see more of 'Living big in a tiny house' 😊
Outstanding design. The living room seems very inviting.I absolutely like the open shower and the net across the dual loft is also an intelligent decision as it makes the tiny house more airy and full of light.
@@lucybrenton149 That table design has actually been around for a long time, check out the article "How to Build a 2-in-1 Coffee/Dining Table" from Handyman Magazine...
@@ZeoCyberG True, but none of the vids I have discovered show a table as stable as this one appears to be. The Handyman project doesn’t include fold-down wings, thus the coffee table requires same footprint as the dining table.
Who would say this is just a 20 feet long tiny house! I must say Agathe blended her architect like knowledge and aesthetic so perfectly into this very compact and beautiful tiny home. It can be an example of a successful implementation of academic knowledge into reality. How versatile the coffee table is that turns to a dining table even a work space. The first view of the kitchen when the out door opens makes the home gorgeous, the natural coating inside and out brings a calmness and I really really appreciate the natural lights have ample chance to pour in the house - everywhere to bathroom - definitely it is a luminous home as Anton said it. And it is very visible how much they adore their cat.
OMG, That table is so smart!! Wow Bryce, this is very cool, design wise and gorgeous architecture, wow, on the ceiling, the huge windows and that net is so clever!
I think this is my new favourite tiny house - from the overall design (they are so right - that shape is what every child instinctively draws as a house) to the light to the folding table to the cat flap...it's all perfect. Thank you Agathe and Anton for sharing your beautiful home with us. (And your English is loads better than my French!)
Design is very impressive. While it looks real tiny from the outside, the feel of spaciousness is striking from the inside. Très beau projet Agathe et Anton! Le design et la décoration sont superbes! Et quelle incroyable table!
This is literally one of my favorite tiny houses I've ever seen featured in one of your videos. Although about 10-20ft shorter than I'd prefer, they've made the absolute maximum out of it. The coffee table is a beautiful touch of genius as well as the gorgeous ceiling. There isn't a thing about it that I don't like - that's rare for me. It deserves some kind of award.
i'd buy the design for that table if they'd sell it! what a gorgeous home. i echo what others have said: one of the best! may they have much success with their construction company!

Or only to water plants?
