You have given me so much inspiration as I have watched you quilt. Thank you for what you do to help us newcomers learn quilting. I have been watching for about a month.
Sorry watching a replay. Was thrilled to see it is attaching your quilt. My gardener and I had to partially dismantle my longarm as I wanted it in another room. 3 1/2 hours later it was moved and remnanteled. First time so I’m chuffed. I have cleaned and put wax on the rubber runners. On Monday the technician will come to service the motor as it’s been sitting for 2 years untouched. Cannot wait to get started after having watched your wonderful UA-cam’s Susan. I ordered red snappers and they will arrive next week. Everthing seems to becoming together well. I have 3 baby quilts so will take your tip to practise on them first. Lovely to watch this video. Brings back routine. Thank you Susan and Dave
Beautiful! The motif is perfect for the quilt! IMO the crossover at the base of the leaves is a genius way to change directions. BTW, I believe that is the elephants ear, not a saddle.;)
Any suggestions? My red snapper side grips are so stiff I can hardly get them open and closed. Then the fabric seems to pull right out so I must not be using them correctly.
Mine were certainly stiff to begin with, they’ve gotten much easier over time. But they grip really well, so maybe reach out to the seller? Perhaps they have an instructional video or can talk you through the loading👍🏻
I really like this flower design. It is so forgiving.
So pretty. I love this design. It would be a good exercise to practice evenness.
Love this rose

I thought the "saddle" was the ear of the elephant.😅 I love doing roses like this!
Hi Susan. Catchup from Sydney Australia. Very pretty design. So pleased to see you handle the applique the same way I do.

I’m curious about sewing the binding on while using longarm
I'll put that in the queue for a Live & Unscripted episode, how's that?
Beautiful romantic design ❤️

I would love seeing this pattern in a darker color to get a good look. It is a beauty, however.
Where did you buy your snapper side clamps
They’re Red Snapper brand. Google Quilts In The Corner, they’re the shop that created that brand.
