Cool review and cook video Tim, thank u for the video! Looks like a great product and if i had disposable income, i would jump on this. I will stick with my current wood-burning stoves, but thanks for showing us this product!
$200? Nope. At 14 pounds its only good out of a vehicle, in which case I'll just stick with a propane burner, Weber Smokey Joe, old coffee can... or even a few decent rocks arranged just right. And if you're using cast iron skillets, just set it on hot coals for kielbasa and eggs, and similarly easy stuff..
I got to get the ammo can cooker! It's bad ass. But you cooking... not so good... LOL Way too much heat while cooking the sausage [U burned off the fat]. Right? I just take the pan off the heat and place it on the ground, when it gets too hot. Anything brave enough to jump into it, I'm brave enough to eat. LOL
feeding wood into this design is awkward... would be better if the end where the latch is had a door or flap so you can feed wood in horizontally ... and even include a sliding air control vent....
Too expensive and you need a pan or something to cook your food in... There are so many inexpensive small grills from $25-$35... the Fire Sense HotSpot Notebook Charcoal Grill is $28... Smokey Joe is $35... They are primarily for charcoal but you can use wood if you want... Thing is you can go right from the grill to a bun and you can cook a lot on them... I used to have a Smokey Joe when I was younger and just threw it in the back of my Saturn... You can get them real cheap on clearance at the end of summer...
Why would I want to pay $200 for a rocket box when the forest provides all the resources you need in nature to make your own rocket fire? I’ve made all mine from natural resources. I understand someone wanting to make a living. Looks like a good product for someone who has money to burn. No pun intended.
Looks great, 200 is kinda pricey tho 🇺🇸💪
Fantastic review by the price stopped me in my tracks- 200 is a little steep although I get that it’s all probably hand made in the USA
Yeah, I feel ya. But nice things cost real money, and that's just how things are.
When I saw that stove I said I am getting one I just love everything about it then you said the price that ended that 💰💰💰💰💰
That thing exudes high quality. Sweet, well thought out stove. Thank you.
Cool concept. I just don’t see this catching on especially at $200 bucks. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Tim, that's cool!
Nice !! Thanks
Fire Box with most options is about half. BUT assembly time and cool factor? 🤷🏻♂️ Wouldn't want hump that ammo box though.
Thank you for the great instructions too 🙏
Getting one today
Excellent. Let me know what you think about it
@@EverydayTacticalVids will do

Tim,
Nice ammo can stove. It kind of reminds me of a similar concept I saw in one of the Ranger Digests by Ranger Rick Tscherne. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching man!
I just got mine in the mail... It is well built for sure, but I am having trouble keeping the fire going. Any tips would be appreciated.
Perhaps smaller sticks - dry wood make a huge difference too.
Rule of thumb. If it's gonna cook fast, cook it last.
Il just weld my own
Ya i would hope u get more for a 230 bucks item
I'm curious about the "Maya fatwood." Why that monicker? It's just fatwood. Is this coming from South America?
Hello Tim, can I use paper as rocket stove fuel? Thank you.
You’ll need something with greater density I think. Paper will burn out quickly.
All the "freebies" if you buy the $229 stove. There are too many other cheaper, and better options for the money.

But I really liked your presetation!
I just wander if Minutemen Rocket Stove plans on coming out with a smaller caliber ammo can stove?
