- #Lockdown Session No.15 This Time. Today’s Lockdown Session is for all the folks over there in Memphis. I have visited Memphis many times over the years and the experiences I have had and the people I have met and worked with there mean a lot to me. Working with the legendary Willie Mitchell and his son Boo at Royal Studio Memphis was incredible and when the city tipped their hat to me I was so humbled. Thank you Memphis, hope to be back soon. Thank you so much MP. This song reminds me of the night I met the love of my life. We met and fell in love but due to our lives going in different directions we never stayed together. 20 years later we met again and fell in love all over again. This is the song I sang to her on karaoke in the pub where we first met. We were together for 10 years before I lost her as she had to go to that place in the sky but what a life we had. I’m looking forward to seeing her again one day. Thanks for the beautiful rendition - far better than mine.

Oh Marti, I lived in the states for 20 years. Now I’m home it’s nice to hear a touch of the American Blues from a beautiful Scottish voice. They must have loved you there x

@@langdale55 too true! Was absolutely amazing. Just different days back then aswell. They truly were one of the best bands of their time, never got the recognition they deserved back then.
Kirsti Reed in hindsight you’re right. I think they ran their course but looking back to late eighties, these songs will be in many a 80s kids’ soundtrack to their lives. When I hear the intro to Sweet Little Mystery, it just takes me right back to the Duck Bay on a hot Saturday night in August! My love is taking a tumble...
