This marriage lasted 3 years. This happend almost two decades ago. We are still best friends, even though i tell him every time he starts to complain that i do not want to remind him about who was right.
His son is a real good young man today. So at least something positive came out of it.
My mother has saved me from 2 women that ended up being complete vampires.

I’m a woman and I have a big problem with a lot of the bullshit attitudes from women today. I absolutely think women sell themselves short and that quite a few women do make us look bad but damn… Some of the shit you are saying on here is kind of crazy. I’ll go right ahead and admit I have some super bad daddy issues and some pretty terrible trauma from my childhood. I’m damaged as fuck. But I was married to one man for 23 years and had four children with him. He ended up, leaving me and all four of our children out of the blue one day for a girl he worked with who was, coincidentally hooked on meth. I’ve been with one man since he and I split up two years ago and he’s a great man, but unfortunately, he is a very paranoid, anxious person that shuts completely down and silent treats me every time he is upset. I won’t lie, it’s very hard, not having his constant validation there, but I know he’s just at home alone, working out his feelings, and if I just give him some time to process his emotions, he’ll come back to me. So no, I do not runoff and seek validation from another man when I’m faced with having no praise. Or validation.
