As I remember it, while the Allies dilly dallied from Normandy, it had not taken long for Russia to overran the entire European continent. Third World countries have long benefitted from communist help or almost everything, including highly classified technology. Goodwiil has been lost by Western decadence, extravagance and wasteful methods. Russia and China controls mainland Asia and rate earth metals. So is Africa and a significant number of South American countries that are receiving advanced technology.

Post NATO agenda us simple, US wants Ukraine conflict to stay thus ensuring Europe will back American global agenda. Europe also wants the Ukrainian war to stay and extend the front to Asia so that even Trump finds NATO/Europe relevant. This is liberal democracy, freedom and human right ala American interpretation
