Recently came across your yt while looking for sultan pasha's vidoes. Absolutely phenomenal work, your dept of knowledge and love for perfumery is visible. As a student of perfumery myself, your work, especially the perfumer interviews have been brilliant! Alot of take aways of knowledge that would stay hidden without your work. Hope to someday send across a few of my creations to you, still new in my journey of perfumery.
Having smelled authentic jasmine since my childhood, this was a banger for me…a true jasmine bomb!! I agree it’s very heavy in feel & can overwhelm the senses but it was easy to recognize this was more Russian Adam than Bortnikoff.
I wonder how many comments of me in random videos of yours we could find in the past 6 months asking you to try this fragrance :D Over the months I own this, I love it more and more. One of the best Adam creation ever. And must underrated one for sure!
Cheers Rams, I kinda knew this would peak your interest quite the bit 😊,so yeah 1 Adam and 1 to Bortnikoff and to my nose I feel Rise and Set is probably Bortnikoff as the similarities to Amber Cologne and Oud Cologne are quite apparent?? Lol ,spoken like a true Perfume Peasant hahaha. Have a great day man ✌️🙏👍.
Having used up a sample set... this is my favourite of the three and is on my full bottle list, just low down.... and probably because it's in a feel oud bottle and not an Areej which have the x factor and collectablity, but also i think 350 for 30ml of what is an unknown brand is a bit much.
@@RamseytheRam Thanks for the swift answer. I have Malik Al Motia but never sniffed Oud de Grand, so wanted to ask you about their similarities (if any) before pulling the trigger on my first Feel-Oud purchase.
Love Oud de Grand , Rams ! Totally understand when you said it might not be your style since I understand your style by now 😅 But the jasmine is just so amazing isn’t it ? You couldn’t just pass ! Sotd: Tabac Dore (total coincidence) Don’t have a bottle of Oud Balsam though , but even the colour of the juice is exactly same as Tabac Dore !
@@RamseytheRam Yeah that was just my first impression and I so shocked I had to leave a comment. But I trust your reviews so I'll let it sit a while and circle back.
so I've come back to a couple times since this post: still has a chemical and somewhat fecal smell to it, which I know is obviously from the oud but I was expecting it to be more of a pleasant Oud considering it's from Thailand. I've let two other people smell it without any context provided to them and both gave negative feedback. I just expected something that was a lot easier to wear and this just isn't it.
I have the sampler set, I can't remember exactly but I believe Oud Balsam was my doubtful fav, smelled of almonds and plum if I recall. Another one was basically stinky cheese, and I didn't like the last one either. Awful, I must say. For my nose.
Thank you brother🤝
Today I received Lao Oud Bortnikoff - an incredibly amazing high🔥🔥🔥
Yes Lao Oud is amazing... thanks for watching brother 💪🐏
@@RamseytheRam thank you so much 🙌🏼💯
Thank you 🙌🏼
I bought Oud de grand 30 ml in august 2023 and have been enjoying this masterpiece ever since. Every day I like him more and more.
I agree ... best in the collection 💪🐏
At 5:08 _"Think four square when you were a kid."_ OMG! So funny. Ramsey, you're awesome. ♥

Fell in love with jasmine and Oud when I tried Arabian jasmine from AMER. My first Oud purchase. Thank you for this review. Have to try it.
I have never tried Arabian Jasmin but this is my all time favorite Oud & Jasmin perfume ... it's stunning

Happy Friday, Ramsey.
Speaking to Jasmine+Oud perfumes, is oud de grand a flanker of ALD Malik Al Mottia?
I never thought of that🤔
But I would say no

The jasmine is so good in oud de grand... I want a bottle and would totally trade my oud balsam bottle with someone one day 😂😂😂
Oud de Grand for Oud balsam….Trade in a jiffy 😂💯
Just gotta find the right person 🙏🙏🙏
My Oud de Grand just came in the mail today and it smells like straight floor cleaner...man...I did not expect this.
Floor cleaner? I think you need to spend more time with it ... wear it for a few weeks before making up your mind

I have a soft spot for those Gucci block bottles myself. ☺ Watch out for those crooked bees though. They'll rob you if you're not careful. 😆

Not selling it... need a swap partner 😅
