Good to know there's someone else out there that has a very similar mindset to mine. You're so right about f2p being a mindset more than anything else. Know what you want and the limitations present in the game, adjust your expectations accordingly, and you'll never be tempted to spend or whale in gachas since guarantees exist and you can save up for them.
Great advice at the part of forte and echoed 5 all fortr and go for echo just mid midsubtstats its fine cuz still grinding that probably the endgame grinding, thats what I did a truly gacha player indeed 👍💯
Everyone is already hype for cammellya coming patch this will be a very big update.. And Kuro already fix some minor issues like everyone having a hard time getting exp and tuners.. But i will be skipping her I'll be saving up for jinhsi and shorekeeper next rerun and definitely goin for S6😊.
Ah, totally! I know that going for a Jian would make my tram better, and the ToA easier. I also know that going for using Verina over Baizhi would increase my dps. I also know that Camellya might be good, but my teams would ve better if I went for Changli. But I am a fool, so I will put all on Camellya.
I like the scarcity that gacha provides. When you watch Pokémon wouldn't it be boring if everyone had the same meta team with the best Pokémon. I like how people have to pick their mains carefully and invest in them to keep the relevant.
I buy the battle pass and lunite subscription and I only pull for characters which I love in the story and personally like while making sure they are strong enough and are good in the meta. This means skipping a lot of characters but that's okay. Reruns are a thing and if you really want a character you can try again. Also, if I lose 50/50 then I try to save my guarantee for another character I really want instead of going to hard pity. The only character I went to hard pity was Shorekeeper who I got for 130 pulls after losing 50/50 but I made an exception cuz I loved her story and she is the best support in the game.
WuWa was the first Gacha that made me spend! 150 dollars for S6 Taoqi and 30$ for Shorekeeper, I have purchased 2 lunar subscriptions and 1 BattlePass, I'm a Dolphin, watching this just in case, I don't want to evolve into a whale.
I am in that same place. Whaling sounds too financially taxing. Still, the lunite subscription does provide a better bang for the buck, but it requires commitment and planning, due to the daily astrites.
Im a whale but i live with family who doesnt screw me on rent like every single other landlord in my area would. if i was living by myself i would not be able to whale LOL.
Chixia is fun to play for me :) I also like Yuanwu playstyle also but he does no dmg. Units like Jyan and Jinshy I find boring and too flashy to a point you cant see the screen and even make the game too easy
Funny, I technically spend money on gachage but not in the way most people do. Basically I pay nothing to any of those games, but I'm willing to spend money to buy a new device if mine can't play a game I really want to. Anyway I have about 90 rolls saved up for Camellya with a guarantee. I'll see if I can get her with S0R1. She's the only character I'm interested in so far.
You mean to tell me people play her without at least 270% cd? Jokes aside I'm really happy with my shorekeeper and did get lucky getting cd on every echo but I would have got more hp for her if I was min maxing, she only has 2 hp% substat rolls and too much er but I'm not gonna waste resourses trying to build her slightly better.

As I don't need the extra healing atm, I don't plan to change her but if they ever release a mode like pain cage from pgr that constantly saps your health and makes sustain more important, I'll build a healing or HP echo for Baizhi and just steal that as needed.
Spend 3k in GI (my first gacha) absolute regret. Never a single penny for hoyo again. Don't even play much these days just do story and log off since devs don't give a damn to make game better. Spend 4k on PGR and around 600$ on Wuwa. 100$ in R1999. No regrets and happy. Simple. I love the game and devs are good. Spend. Game fugs me and devs are shite. No support.
She is "somewhat boring" at the start. Keep in mind at the start of the game she doesn't have sequences or her inherent skills. She becomes more rewarding after getting her 2 inherent skills, her S1 and her S4 as these all kinda change how well she plays. The point I was trying to make was in relation to the desire to replace the free characters you have at the start of the game with a more flashy 5 star. You might still think I'm wrong but that's fine, we just disagree.
Dunno where this comment came from as I didn't say I don't support them, I support games I enjoy like PGR and WuWa with small payments like how I said in the video, I'm not f2p as I buy the lunite subscription but I also control how much I spend to not regret it down the line. But even if someone didn't support the game, it being free to play means even if they choose to play for free, they aren't taking advantage of the company who made it. The company lets people do that by not having an upfront cost or a mandatory subscription.
The way i do is simple
- i like the game and the devs, i buy bp and monthly
- i like the game but don't like the devs, i go full f2p

Tbh I’m not a fan of gacha games my first was Genshin and I realized I just liked to play Genshin and now Wuthering waves, I just like anime and mmo
