I believe I read that Jimmy is partially deaf and that because of this he and the rest of the family are able to communicate in ASL and used it work wordlessly behind the stage when they worked on the "Donnie & Marie Show."
JapanBrats, since posting that I did some research and learned that it is the two oldest boys in the family who are either completely or nearly deaf, not Jimmy. Accordingly, the entire family was bilingual, being able to speak both in English and ASL (American Sign Language). I’m sorry for posting the erroneous information first. I was simply basing it on a very old and vague memory of an article I read probably over 40 years ago. I thought the least I could do is post an accurate follow up comment to correct it.
@@inkyguy No worries. That's still interesting. I don't recall ever hearing Donny or Marie discuss the family's hearing deficits on a talk show or anywhere.
Hey do anyone has the music video to this song the video was on UA-cam many years ago it was shown on some foreign show with jimmy appearing on it and he talks to the host and audience and then they show the music video he is driving a DeLorean singing the song and he is on the road and he is walking near a mountain and in the woods its a beautiful scenery on both scenes the video ends with him driving in the DeLorean as the sun sets it was a beautiful video like a late spring summer day vibe and he's wearing a leather jacket also in the video its like the music video doesn't exist anymore and its 10x better then this plane boring performance
If Jimmy had managed to stay this slim he would have been so much more popular, he was in his own class here!
Japan Brats??!! Jimmy Osmond is the sweetest guy in the world.
Japan Brats is my channel name and defines we so-called "military brats" who grew up in Japan. It is not in any way a derogatory reference.
ちっちゃな恋人 を 歌った 方ですかぁ😃

Wow! Never knew that. Amazing that he was able to enjoy a successful music career considering. Thanks for that bit of trivia!

It was the two eldest brothers Tom and Virl, that were deaf.

Jimmy looks more closely related to Bill and Roger Clinton than to the rest of his own siblings.
Now trhat you mention it... You're right! haha
Don't insult Jimmy Osmond like that please
日本語うまい。
