Hey Sarge I just discovered your channel I agree with your philosophy of finding high end audio without the high price I just happened to have been lucky enough to work at a popular pawnshop and acquired amps and speakers because the owner didn't have the knowledge of what he had in his store or he was just a nice guy he had a pair of real birch wood heresy he would not sell me no matter how much I begged him to in closing I wonder if you ever heard that Sarah Vaughn with Oscar Peterson recording its recorded very hi-res check it out if you can find it.
You are at the idea place for acquiring some nice stuff, I might have that recordings in my collection, I will double check, if not I have Amazon music, Tidal music, and UA-cam music, I will find it, thanks for tuning in, happy listening.
@@MixMatchStereo Thanks I have Forte IV's going to a MAC7200. I always wondered if the MC275's would sound as good on the low end and rounder on the top end than SS?
Going to have to flick backwards and forwards between the two videos, but in the first couple of notes it sounds different. That sharp edge is missing. Let me double check the other video to confirm what I am hearing.
The 402 is a fuller sound with more authority in the bass. The 275's have a lot more air to them. I am noticing more detail with the 275's which is a bit surprising. Generally feeling the music I have to go with the 275's. Vocals I am not sure, there are subtle differences but I might ever so slightly lean towards the 275's hard to tell through some very cheap wired headphones. I think this would sound better with the 275's on the top end and the 402 on the bottom to give it some depth. Is the microphone you are recording on clipping. There are spots were it sounds like the microphone is struggling to capture the sound without distortion.
I'm stunned, what a set up.
Cool channel.. Thanks for the upload.. I see Conrad-Johnson gear on the corner too👍🏼..
Yeah, will be working them back in at a later date, thanks for tuning in.
This room sounds really good, nice and warm.
Thank you sir.

I just bought a Tascam Portacapture x8 recorder, so all of my videos going forward should improve, as soon as I figure it all out.

@allenwilliams8962 I wish that I could afford the Klipsch Lascala's, that's what I want, maybe one day.

Hi Great set up. Do the MC275's go to a preamp?

I THINK I like this a little better
It's sweet
Sarge you should try Grace Mahya Live at the DUG "Kiss Of Life" and Venessa Fernandez- I want You album! OORAH
I have them both in my Tidal library, I have Vanessa Fernandez on 180gm vinyl
Sand Flee or San Diego?
Ever been to Iwakuni?
Sand Flees definitely, and no.

Yep, what ever that louder instrument is at the start it is far less jarring, and sounds so much more open than the other amp.
Which amplification do you prefer overall with those Klipsch?
Let me know.
