I like the pencil pouch DIY SOLID GOLD
We use to use balloons for bass fishing. We would throw big shiners into the weeds. I like the rod leash too!!
Thank you brother
Using balloons while fishing on the beach is a great idea. You can easily see how far out you are. It also allows the wind and current to get your line out there.
Funny how many people ask me all the time of why I have a balloon tied to my line.
A cheap and easy rod leash...
Take one of them old car charger, coiled up, for a cell phone. Ya know, the ones that were for an old phone that you threw in the junk draw, and snip off the 12V plug and the phone connection ends. Slide on a carabiner, fold the cut end over, like you did with the para-cord, and zip tie that sucker.
Boom, a rod leash. And because its coiled and that coiled has memory, it won't get in the way.
You can use it for your plier/snips, fish grabber, whatever you don't want to end up on the bottom of whatever you're fishing on top of.
Great video..love the hacks!
Stay healthy!
Heading to Walmart. Thanks for 1-6. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and be safe. Been using the glow bracelets for a few years. Have a blessed day
Yes Sir thank you
Possibly the best hack video you've done. Fishing binder makes too much sense to not do. That one is a definite.
Another great video, keep them coming.
Thank you brother . I appreciate it
We need more of this guy in life!!!
😁
I've used glow bracelets from $$tree for years. A little bit of electrical tape on the ends. Light all night. As always love the hacks.
Electric tape is even better thank you
@@FishinNStuff try the Velcro cable ties. I use them for my break down pole too.
Came here to say this lol i use zip ties but just dont crank the super tight and you can replace the stick a few times
I just came from Walmart and bought one of those three ring binders to organize my swimbaits and other assorted lures. Thank you so much, Fishing N Stuff!
Yes Sir , that's a really cool cheap hack there
Great ideas, they will save time, money and effort.
Your hard work is greatly appreciated.
I live in Jersey (between the UK and France ) this is where New Jersey USA is named after.
Our types of fishing greatly differ from yourselves, but, the principles are primarily the same and your videos are of great interest.
Many thanks.
Well you taught me something too lol . Ive studied about your fishing a good bit when I was younger, especially how Carp is the #1 game fish in most countries and in America it's not even considered one . I appreciate you watching Sir
I love the pencil pouches, i use them for my three fly setups. Saves me so much time in the field. Thanks!
i love watching this guy, he's funny and not foul mouthed
Love the notebook system. I use them to make specific kits like, catfish, bass, ultralight and fly. I keep a couple of rods in PVC holders in my truck and the notebooks slide right under the seats.
That's a good way to do it
The balloon trick was pretty snazzy. Never thought of using that or a pool noodle for catfish rigs. Also, I never thought of skimming the party section at Walmart for glo sticks. I always get the ones out of the fishing section! That’s definitely a money saving tip right there. Still need to get a bimini top for the boat. And 1:10, who knew that!! 🎣
I never thought of using a binder and zipper pencil pouches for lures and fishing supplies. That’s a neat hack! I wouldn’t have thought of that lol
Hit the dollar tree for glo sticks you'll save even more money.
I could see ol Keith stranded on an island, “I hate to do this to you Wilson but TaDay you gunna become a bobber”. Another great video!!
Haha
@@FishinNStuff here's a hint or tip you could pass on. I use tetherballs for buoys on fish traps they also make great boat bumpers between the boat and the dock. As well as the rare times I have to let go the anchor I can have one tied on the anchor line. So one tether ball can be used three different ways fishing related. I also use one at each end of my trolling line to Mark the ends. If it's an extra long line I'll put one or two in the middle just too supported off the Lake Bottom.
@@littlekingcobrasden4217 good idea
Making Sunday even better again.
Lol
the pencil pouch idea is a stroke of pure genius... its so good
Weve been doing the glow stick bracelets for years!! Even add the larger glowsticks when running jugs at night. 👍🏻
Great idea on the pencil pouches
the pencil pouch idea is genius especially to sort salwater fish bites! it's back to school season so everything is on sale, i'll be hitting up the store in the morning
Awesome tips. Love the notebook and glowsticks
this right here is why i subbed. simple, easy to understand/ execute hacks, but i would never think of them. i have 4 of those binders from school somewhere and pencil cases. never thought to use them for fishing.
7:00, here in OKC Oklahoma we use the balloon bobbers, the big 18in balloons to get our bait 200-300+ yards off the bank for some big blues during the winter. It looks like a birthday party with how many of us do it, and at night the lake is lit up with them. They work
Another grand slam fishing hack video...especially the pencil pouch/ zippered 3 ring binder "specialty notebook"...absolutely brilliant!!! I already have 3 of the old style (aggravating ziplock pouch) notebooks for all my bass plastics...but will shift over once they wear out.
But I'm gonna immediately make one for my halibut fishing rigs and terminal tackle...one for my lobster float lights (salt water)...and one for cat fishing rigs/tackle (fresh water). Dunno why I didn't think of it before. Watching the video was a real "Duh" moment. Many thx!!!
Thank you brother , i appreciate you watching
Great ideas... like your integrity... you've learned tricks from others... passing onto us...and giving credit to those who told you...!!
Thank you buddy
Great hacks! Especially like the pencil pack storage system!!! Thanks for sharing with us!! W
Great idea on the notebook. It's a great use of those pencil bags, which I often keep thinking, they are so cheap (even better when they go on clearance), there must be some good useful thing we can use them with.
Bravo Cher Monsieur, J'apprécie beaucoup vos vidéos, pleines de bonnes humeurs, d'astuces et d'intelligences ... Merci, très bonnes continuations !
You make fishing and Diy 's awesome.
Thank you Sir
That coax staple slide is legit! I never want to spend the money on them slides, that is an excellent option! Headed to lowes now!
Yes sir some great ideas thanks for sharing. God bless you and your family love y'all my friends
yup, ground down a bolt or 2 for my Kayak track, TOILET BOWL BOLTS work too, cost more than the DIY version though..... GREAT VIDEO !
Thank you Sir , ill check into the toilet bolts
I like to use old telephone or microphone cords that I find at garage sales to make my leashes. I find they are less likely to get tangled than paracord. Cut of ends, make a loop, and crimp it with aluminum sleeves. ☺
That's a good idea 💡
Telephone cords are worse IMO. I work in the office and for the life of me, I’ve had to get my phone cord replaced more than once because it kept getting tangled up. They should make phones in the office cordless.
@@FlaGatorGrl87 I worked at a control panel and our cord would get tangled when people would turn it while using it. I just unplugged the connection and it would unwind the twists. ☺
Hey - GREAT videos !!
Loved the running sinker slider idea :-)
Thank you Fishin N Stuff for all the wonderful DIY ideas.
Ted - Downunder (Australia)
The notebooks and pencil pitches are great- love the creativity. Will be making some of those, Thanks!
Great video. Thank you for your time and knowledge.
Yes Sir
I like the pencil case hack!
Thanks for the Great hacks Keith!!!
Thank you brother
Man I really like that rod leash idea, thank you!
TA DAY! As always great timing! My favorite was the T bolts! Those with your track brackets will be my next DIY! Such an awesome video once again! Thank you again! Tight lines and keep on catchin!
Thank you Sir i appreciate it
That's good fishing ideas for night time
Thanks for another great video. I just can't get enough of your fishing hacks
Some good fish-N-stuff there. Thanks
I am visually impaired and have a hard time keeping track of my bobbers. I was so excited to see your hacks!!!
Great projects, great comedy!!
Thank you Sir
I zip tied a couple of those pencil pouches to my kayak crate for soft plastics and terminal tackle.
That's a good idea
That pencil pouch is a great idea thanks buddy
It did work good
Every time I watch your videos brother I feel smarter! Lol thankx a million again my man!
Thanks brother ...these are FUN and educational
Thanks
Watching from New Delhi India
T bolts in the track?........ Awesome!
That notebook with the pencil holders is a great idea...
It works so much better than the store bought ones because the zipper is awesome . I hate the zip locks on the others
Love your videos. I made the led fishing light
Have you tried it out yet
Fishin N Stuff not yet but looks great. Was going to go tonight. But stuff happens. Going to try Tuesday night
@@heathboggs4772 I'm sure it'll work . Spring is my favorite time of year to light fish
Went to Galveston a couple of weeks ago to fish. Several of the boats had the balloons attached and fishing with them. I had never seen that before.
Been buying those glow sticks for years for the kids and B.o.B . Never occurred to me to use for night fishing. Going to Walmart to stock up. 😁
I buy the long bracelets at the Dollar store. They work great being how long they are. 2pieces of black tap and your in there. Plus they show more of the pole with how long they are.
Always good to see a new video.
Wishing you much success on the water and the camera 💪🇺🇸💪
Crappy fishin, I love this dude!
Hey, fishing stuff subscriber here. Just to let you know that was a great vid on the 24v light. The only thing you left out was how dog gone tough it is to get that 1 1/2” shrink tube pulled from end to end but I got er done and it works great. Thanks for the vid and keep em comming. Ps: get out of that garage and put some fish in the boat.
Man i would love too . But yall get mad if I miss a week haha 😄
Awesome hacks Keith. You sure know how to save $ brother
Thank you Mr Chavez
Definitely some good ones in this bunch !
I done that movable cleat a few years ago on a tracker.it works good
I love this video. You always bring great stuff to the table. I use light sticks in 1 gal automotive window cleaner jugs for jug fishing at night. Haven't lost a jug since I started using them. They look cool flying across the water when a goodun is on it. We sell paracord by the ft at ACE Hardware in Lexington NC. I think it's .14 or .15 a ft.
My buddy did that to . I'm afraid it'll just make my jugs easier to find for the ppl that steal fish 😔
you've done it again. thanks for the hacks. enjoyed them
Thank you brother
Thanks for the great hacks.
Thank you Sir for watching
We use balloons at the beach on the pier when the tide is going out to get our baits way out in the water. 😁👍
Congratulations on polluting our fisheries. 👍
@@saltwaterrook4638 I am proud to say I have never once lost a balloon. It's all in how you rig them. Ensure you know what you're talking about before commenting.
@@fishermann2776 I do know what I'm talking about as I've been around balloon rigs since back before anyone gave a shit. It's the reason biodegradable balloons exist. You're one of thousands, so your "never lost a balloon" is probably bullshit but if it's not, that's you. So if you think it's not a problem, then maybe you should know what you're talking about on a larger scale than yourself.
@@saltwaterrook4638 being around them and knowing how to rig them are two different things Mr. Ecology. Evidently you haven't learned a lot during this time.
@@fishermann2776 I've learned you're incompetent and incapable of logical reasoning. Face it chief, there's no argument you can make.
Thank-You sir for another fantastic video!
I also use balloons to suspend bait, except I grab old out-of-ink pens and cut the small internal tubing into pieces. (Small automotive vacuum line tubing will work as well) Put that on your line below a slip bobber stop and bead, and then tie the balloon around the ink pen tubing. Then you have a super slip bobber! A white balloon with 3 of the 2" glow sticks shows up great, even at a distance.
That's a good idea
Lol using my old wine corks as floaters, I thought I had a good hack, but this is epic
Lol
Thanks for the tip mate...
Great ideas Brother. I'm glad you added the cheapo zip tie floats on here You made them look cooler than when I made them. You come up with some awesome ideas Keith keep the videos coming
Thank you Sir
As usual, you had me at "Wal Mart" and sealed the deal with a "Harbor Freight" reference. Love this channel. Please keep it up!
Lol
Instead of the glow sticks use the replacement leds for lighted nocks. You can turn em on n off whenever ya want and I simply tape them to the rod tip. They last quite awhile and are nice n bright👍
I've been looking at them . I might use em on a video in the future . I'm definitely going to trying em now though
@@FishinNStuff they work amazing, and you can normally get different colors if you like. I carry packs of them and some electrical tape at all times with my tackle.
I'm from Canada man, and im surprised these came in handy for my area of fishing, great hacks
Another great video as always, Thank's !!!!!!!!!!
Some of best ideas yet!
All look like good hacks to me and will save you money.....I see another digit being added to your supporter count soon.... Congrats....
Thank you brother, i was watching yours one day last week and you doing pretty dang good too buddy , we done came a long way SK
@@FishinNStuff It's coming along ok to just be a crappie fishn channel but seems to have a 50ft chain dragging behind it....LOL
If I didn't enjoy it so much I would've quite a long time ago.....
@@SK_CrappieCatching man your editing has really improved at ( mine has too lol ) its gonna go got to be patient . Take it from me you'll never have enough haha
Good stuff Keith! Ever try toilet bowl bolts for in tracks? I use to use them on my kayak. Not sure if they fit in boat tracks. Happy Fishing Buddy!
No but i will
I barely tie balloon more less trying tie quick lock with knot. Plus we’re I fish a lot laid down trees and such. Some the other ideas was impressed
Well you’ve gone and done it again. You’ve give us 8 more great ideas. Great video.
As always another great hack! Definitely found a couple ideas worth trying. Back to school clearance, I'm going to be looking for folders and pouches. I have the big Berkley ones, but the zip lock sucks! Thanks for sharing and taking the time to create such great content!
Thank you Brother
@@FishinNStuff i use glow in the dark craft paint on my rod tips. 5 bucks and I've painted five or six rod tips. Some twice now and I'm not half way thru the paint yet.
That Sinker slide hack just got you subscribed thanks for the tip. 👍😁
Thank you Sir
Love your video's bud. Keepem coming!
Oh, I will be using these.
Good stuff, as always! Yours is one of the best fishing channels on UA-cam.
Thank you Sir i appreciate it brother
on rod leashes, I use superglue then heat shrink it's faster, plus I also use pool noodle pieces to pre-rig catfishing rigs so at night if I lose a rig I don't have to turn on light (fewer bugs) just unroll, clip-on, BAM! bait and throw! Thanks for your efforts and your skills helping others!
To upgrade that foam bobber use a big weighted stick bobber an put inside the pool noodle. With the gaps spray that expanding foam to fill the gaps. An you got yourself a big weighted bobber for live bait flathead fishing. Just remember to use a bobber stop.
Another great DIY vid! Thanks for the hacks! Keep em coming 👍🤙
Great ideas man. Thanks again.
I did the pvc rod storage hack 20 rod capacity. It turned out pretty cool!! All in 11/4, 60.oo😁
Thanks for sharing!
Me and my wife have been using the glow bracelets for about 15 years now we think some colors work better than others but that depends on the person and if you watch dollar tree sometimes you can find packages of 20+
Those were awesome!! The sinker slide idea was worth the price of admission alone, but the pencil case/school binder is sheer genius! You are 100% correct that a zipper is way better than those ziplock bag type closures. Plus this video reinforces my idea that pool noodles are the greatest invention ever, and can be used for everything! 😂 Love the video! Thanks for the hacks!!!
You gonna like my next video lol
I just subbed. This video just saved me a lot of $$$. You're a genius. Thank you for showing this. Take care.
Thank you
Awesome hacks bud. You can get some of that stuff at Dollar Tree too if you have those stores in your area.
The binder + pouch hack would be good for keeping information in sheet protectors with the related tackle. My sons Scout troop has a annual trout fishing trip up to the lakes in the Sierra Nevada's and cell phone coverage is spotty and I've printed basic lake maps and rigs printed for reference. Thx
That's a great idea
AWESOME hacks! Keep it up.
Love the hacks man. Keep them coming. Always good ideas
I found the pencil cases to be a good idea but I bought 1 gallon freezer slider closure bags to work better.
I love watching your stuff!
Thank you
@@FishinNStuff You're welcome.
