@blade004 I have met Paul Dempsey twice and was very down to earth and a pleasure to talk with. Gave me his handwritten setlists both times. Paul is a great man/artist.
i think which is better is a matter of opinion. this sort of singing is not my style, but i'm glad they've done their own thing with it rather than just an out and out copy
Awesome! Two guys verses the 20-30 "musicians" Bowie needs these days. Give Bowie his due respect (just as SFK did) because he wrote it but this version is "better" than the original and there is nothing wrong with that. Sorry Bowie fans.
8 years later I saw your comment, then looked for Paul's version of Ship of Fools..was dissapointed because I thought it was a cover of John Cale song, or even the Doors song..no it was the world party song..teurns out theres songs called ship of fools by Erasure and the greatfull dead..all different and all with the same title?? thanks for the tip yesterday person :)
@@raindogred I immediately thought this was referring to the World Party song, as it's the first and only song I think of when anyone mentions World Party, just as if someone were to mention the words ship of fools to me, I'd immediately think of World Party.

Dempsey's version of Ship Of Fools is also better than the original... Not hard though haha

I personally think Something For Kate did a better job. I'm not a fan of Bowie's vocal style, especially in this song.
