Short of going to England, how about a Live from the Friar Tuck in Cagan Crossings in Clermont? It's under new ownership, has plenty of room, and will be reopening in the next week or so.
The eye of a hurricane will destroy everything on its path, be it Central Florida or otherwise. It may not be a hurricane Cat 5, but a Cat 4 is as terrible. Lived through that when hurricane Maria in 2017.
The good news (kind of) for Central Florida is that it would take a series of events to allow a hurricane to reach us as a Category 4. I could certainly happen, but usually there is enough land between us and the hurricane to weaken it before it gets to us. I'm SO sorry that you went through Maria. That was truly awful!
