Dr. Hamiisi, thank you so much. Watching from the USA but originally from Ghana 🇬🇭. I am into Pig 🐖 farming. Does the this silage works for pigs 🐖 too? Thank you for your videos
Molasses in silage is mostly to kick start the fermentation and doesn't play major role after the bacteria has established. There for 2% of the total wight of the silage. Mix the molasses with water to effectively reach most of the material
The molasses is only there to feed the bacteria until sufficient quantities of them are established in the biomass. It’s pretty much anaerobic fermentation and the sugars speed the process up.
This is very educative. Thanks for the knowledge sharing. However, the substance that you added to the silage is it a sugar and how is it call. Thanks. A student from Pennsylvania, USA
Assalam aleikum w w. Thanks so much for the efforts you putting in to see other people developing. My question is you alway talk of syncronising what do you real mean by that term?
when using it(the ready made silage) how do you do it. can you just open it for a long time,or you just open it and feed the animals and then close it.am worried that maybe after after a month to 3 months it can rod.following you all the way from Lesotho

I would as well need to know the ratio of mixing mollass
Molasses in silage is mostly to kick start the fermentation and doesn't play major role after the bacteria has established. There for 2% of the total wight of the silage. Mix the molasses with water to effectively reach most of the material
