You can put items into a chest using a dispenser, I think. Unless that’s a bedrock exclusive feature?

11:14 Yes, you can click on the leg. The only block in the entire game, Java or Bedrock, that requires a specific part to be interacted with is the bell.
well a big part of the brewing stand doesnt have a hitbox but if u dont count that bc no hitbox then prob ye

Every design is a surface X by X, but walls are not counted (yours and Mysticats are 5x5 counting walls), and underneath it expands pretty heavily.
Would love to see some 5x5x5 constrained base. :) (Or 4x4x4. 3x3x3 will maybe severly limit options.)

Nice to have good neighbors in Minecraft. Mine usually blow up, attack cause I’m not wearing gold, or dismantle my house and despise eye contact to the point of screaming static.

There’s many things to use, but they require extra comparators or observers
I really love what you did with the block swapper, The only personal thing I would improve is the Enchanting Table, you could add some bookshelves under the ground so you could use it, Good video and I'll continue to support.

3:13 don't think its hugely more practical, but at least in Java droppers can directly put items into chests, so you could put it going in from below using a dropper elevator or somethn.
Wait a second he is probably using some mods because in java you can't move tile entities with piston like smithing table
@@bhxlegend smithing table isn't a tile entity, there's no data to be stored inside, it's like a crafting table

Droppers can put items in chests in bedrock too

that ilmango block swapper is amazing, it's really easy to make and gets the job done reliably even with water elevators

For the output chest, you could use an upwards-facing dispenser(Or dropper I forget) and a Redstone circuit that turns on the dispenser whenever an item is inside, or does that not work in java.
It totally works and I use it a lot
Whenever you show your character flat on the floor with a closeup of the face is really cute especially when it tried to dance

i know its useless, but there is actually a block missing- the fletching table. i dont know if mojang is gonna add a use to it, but just to fully complete it, you can put ut under the button, the redstone signal will still work and you can reach it, so there isnt a even more useless snow block in the base

Fun fact: in spectator mode, if you click on the fletching table, there is a split-second view of a crafting table interface. Seems to be a bug in the code Mojang never patched, but it suggests they were going to add some new interface for it and never did, using the crafting table interface as a template to build off of, rather than starting from scratch. Seems like they decided against it though, because they effectively removed it from the game, except in spectator. One of Mojang’s strangest slip-ups, like when they named a structure in the ancient city “mini_portal_sculpture” in the game’s code.

You can have it be 1 block with a chest for storage on the wall, a interchanging table that is in the corner, the chest is a trapped chest, so that you can activate it, and the third wall block can be used for a bed.

In response to another comment that i can’t find anymore: To make the house also include a max enchantment table, simply make the house out of bookshelves and have the enchantment table pop up in the middle :)
Couldn’t really put anything else on the same level as the house though, it would interrupt the signal. You’s have to pu stuff in the floor, and no short ceilings, so that would make the base too big. Still might work somehow though.

Hi Mysticat! Hoppers are not the only way to put Items into a chest, you can also use a dropper from underneath the chest pointing into it, and powering it...
Correction. The bed is actually 3 pixels too high to crawl on top of, because you sink two pixels into snow layers. If you tried making the floor out of campfires or slabs, then it wouldn't work either. Also, daylight detectors would work too.
If the player didn't sink 2 pixels, then they wouldn't be able to stand on the snow layer?

might be just me, but if the rules allow to place a workbench or smithing table as the wall, why not replace all walls with those handy blocks...

I thought you were gonna go for the swap mechanism for all or most of them. The one-pixel-click access was an unpleasantly innovative surprise. This aesthetic and clever design also reminds me of some of my recurring nightmares. Negative 6/10, would move in.

Droppers can shoot items into other inventories, including other droppers. You can place items in a chest from below using this

You can still open the chest if the glass is on top of it.

Its a transparent block
Transparent blocks don't block chests from opening such as:
-stairs
-slabs
-*glass*
-more chests
That's why you can also stack chests on top of each other
I once made a block switcher. But I’m so bad with redstone so everytime you used it you had to open a trapdoor and add 2 ticks to the repeater.

I (and many others) have managed to make smaller bases (without the sneaky redstone making the build larger) and still only have it take up less than 30 blocks.
I assume they mean smallest living space by that, not how big the base itself is, but it is confusing

@UnknownAvacado it's very confusing. Why not replace the walls with all the different crafting tables, too? Seems a bit overly complicated just to make it huge under the ground with Redstone and super smelter
@@Murasame13 you do raise a good point about it, and my main answer is really that I don't really know why mysticat didn't compress it down more, or add in more contraptions or farms, but I did find the video entertaining nonetheless, and that's kinda the purpose of it.

Just so people know the nether ingots mysticat was talking about when building the super smelter (as far as I am aware) are nether bricks not netherite because netherite needs a smithing table. Also because nether bricks are the exact same model as an iron ingot.
