- Grenada is one of the first Underwater Sculpture park. We recently snorkeled the Park and captured our visit in 3D. The Park was started by a sculpturist, Jason deCaire Taylor. Since the first structure was constructed, others have contributed to the Park with similar sculptures. While the sculptures eventually become a part of the natural reef ecosystem, it's main benefit is to add a unique place to enhance tourism in Grenada. Scuba divers, snorkelers, and even glass bottom boat tours enjoy this unique visual in the bay on the west coast of Grenada.
The video was shot mostly with a Sony 3D Handycam and a Twin GoPro 3D underwater camera system.
I'll tell you, Don...your videos are some of my absolute favorites on UA-cam! They are highly informative with the researched commentary you give and the islands' steel drum music so appropriately interspersed throughout, that it is clearly evident how much time and work you put into the editing and production of each! They tell a fascinating story of places I shall, most likely, never see in person... but, through your beautifully crafted video journals, I can share in the wonders that you and your wife must have surely felt when you first beheld them through your camera lens! Thank You for 'taking ' me along on your video vacations!
Great art! Beautiful idea!
Funny how the underwater sculptures are from Grenada 🇬🇩 but the story is about another island just saying
The artist might not have meant negativr intentions but the statues do represent the slaves thrown off ships. Nevertheless as a African American I think its a nice sculpture
