There is a rock band called "Brand New" who are from Long Island, New York. They were sort of like an indie band I listened to as a kid when I went through a phase in my preteens where I listened to emo and post-hardcore music. My favorite album by them was their debut called "Your Favorite Weapon" released in 2001, the most pop-punk release by them by far, which has like a stop-watch and chess pieces on the album cover. I believe this band and that album are too a product of time-travel by our future son. His avatar might be the frontman of Brand New named Jesse Lacey.
The album "Your Favorite Weapon" seems to draw upon themes from the 1999 movie "The Talented Mr. Ripley" directed by Anthony Minghella, starring Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jude Law. For example, there's a song off the album called "Jude Law and the Semester Abroad" that might be in reference to the character Dickie Greenleaf played by Jude Law in the film. A game of chess is played in the movie, for instance.
I have for a couple of years at least, speculated that this movie from 1999 is a product of time-travel which depicts me as Dickie Greenleaf, in being the adopted son of American author Robert Greene, who is portrayed as Dickie's father in the movie named Herbert Greenleaf. Furthermore, I had a close friend in high school named Rhys who is eerily similar to the character Freddie Miles in the movie, as portrayed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. For a while I have long speculated as to who Marge Sherwood is supposed to be, Dickie's girlfriend in the movie as portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow. My current girlfriend likes to think it's her.
There's a song off the "Your Favorite Weapon" album called "Failure by Design" that does this thing that a Twitch streamer from Australia named "MeowBuffy" likes to do (I have no idea her real name), where "do do do do do do" is sang.
Some interesting observations I just thought I would share with you.

Hi Dakota, I recently discovered your Taylor Swift covers on here - they’re all excellent! Since you’re such a fan of hers I was wondering if you’d be interested in collaborating on a song I’ve (half-)written about her? Happy to discuss further if you are :)
(‘Front Seat Of A Chevy’ is great btw! I’ve added it to my Awesome Indie playlist)
    All the best,
    Eric

Hey, I don't know how to tell you this, but I think we have a future son together who has time-travel capabilities. He presents himself as musical avatars such as the rapper "J. Cole" as well as the pop-punk band "New Found Glory". I am still shocked by this discovery.

A couple of weeks ago, this guy with red hair and a backwards baseball cap showed up to the restaurant where my girlfriend works. We started chatting and he told me him or his family were originally from the United Kingdom. He then went on an impassioned rant about the state of the world and a bunch of wars going on, without explicitly mentioning them. It was like an encrypted conversation, but for some reason he just reminded me of you. He seemed to indicate something about mortgage payments that he found to be unjust. It was only later that I connected it to you.
At first I was like, "How did Dakota Rhodes know where to find me here?" in that I thought he was your scout or something, someone you sent to speak to me. I now believe it was an avatar of our future son.
He never told me his name, but on another day I think the same person showed up and seemed to speak to my girlfriend before I arrived. When she said goodbye to him, she said "Bye Woody!" So I do believe this red haired avatar's name was "Woodrow".
