Hi Elliot. Can You make: a) 1 Vlog about Fantasy Books writen on some other Language then English? b) 1 Vlog about Sci-Fi Books writen on some other Language then English? Particulary I'm interested in European and Asian ones! Maybe in German, French, Hungarian, Croatian, Japanese and Korean! Thank You!
I've seen a lot of hype for A Song to Drown Rivers! I've read a similar book in ya and was heavily disappointed, so glad to hear this one is at the very least more complex and thought-out. Thanks for the thorough review!
Books are so expensive but I love reading and am always looking for good recs other than the usual ones I see on tiktok.. I do like fantasy and Sci-fi and am a newbie writer myself🙂
The Gods Below sounds really good!! The description reminds me of Game of Thrones (TV) plotlines or something. I'm definitely going to check it out despite it being a long one. P.S. I love looking on people's bookshelves to see if I am familiar with any books and it looks like the Bone Shard books by Andrea Stewart's are in the bottom right corner 😅
Thank you for sharing the new books 📚 and did you get my message in your last video about my mother and I have lost her prayers and blessings for you and your family love your Aussie family friend John xxx
The gods below and it is one of my favorite series and such a disappointed the sequel ❤️❤️❤️🎁🎁💚🎄💚💚❤️❤️❤️❤️🎁💚🎄🎄💚🎁🎁❤️❤️❤️🎁🎁📖📙📙📙📙📖📖📙📙📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📙📙📙💚💚🎁💚🎄🎄💚❤️❤️
I loved Bone Shard Daughter soooo much. Then was soooo disappointed by the sequel. And then DNF'd the third book. So I'm not sure if I'll pick up this new series :/
Great roundup!! I just dropped in to ask if you’ve heard yet about Axie Oh’s upcoming fantasy YA The Floating World. I read in an interview that she plans to comp it to Final Fantasy and I thought of you!
I also had mixed feelings about the Gods Below, so I don’t think you had too high expectations. I felt like there were perspectives that I could’ve done without or had less of. And in the end, it’s the few characters I was interested in and the world that’s probably going to keep me going. However, it felt very meh to me.
I felt the same about The Gods Below. I think my expectations were tempered and I just didn’t love it. I’m also on the fence about continuing the series.

I know how you feel with your nieces! I am waiting on my daughters to be ready for so many books!
The way you described the two sisters plot line in The Gods Below immediately made me think of Vi and Jinx lol
i am looking forward to hearing about your Steampunk journey.

Haven't read an Andrea Stewart book yet but I'm interested in reading The Gods Below
I really need to get back into reading.
do it! 10 minutes a day!
yes
You describing The Gods Below sister aspect reminds me of Arcane and now it’s on my list
It opens delivering hard on this, then it sort of goes in a different direction imo
the link to the book isn’t working 😭
I have a copy of the gods below but I haven’t read it yet 👀

The Gods Below was my first book by that author and I also found it a bit underwhelming. She did amazing on the worldbuilding though
