All fun…..I’m still waiting for these next few weeks of hot weather here in CT , I just can’t get into the Fall decore….including mums!!! Oh well….soon enough. Thanks for the fun!!!!
Love Kathleen's uncluttered tablescape. Just enough color (and the chili in the bowls will add more color) and the centerpiece is interesting and low,, good for conversation. Love the contrast of the black and the light neutrals on Patty's table. The colors and textures of Paula's table settings. I would be happy to sit down to a meal at any of the tables!
My mom had Friendly Village and they were the plates she always used at Christmas. I still love them and have a set of my own. I think they can definitely be used in the fall as well. The dinner plates all have a different scene. I think the scenes are all from NH. Also, if you decide to collect more they started to make them in China and the colors are not the same as the originals made in England. Friendly Village also has a Christmas pattern that is called Merry Christmas that I also own and love! Very fun video. Love the different table scapes and definitely will try the recipes!!
I am obsessed with the friendly village Christmas pattern. I do think the colors are spot on for fall, but my VT heart just sees spring...so turkey plates it is!! How lucky you are to have a collection. Glad you enjoyed the video!!
I love the bread board idea. You ladies have such a wonderful talent for thrifting things and pulling them together beautifully. You should have a thrifting tour of New England!
That soup tureen! Gorgeous and a real find! Really enjoyed the table settings, all so different and pretty and a great way to use different items to create "A scene". Lovely.
Just when I think the channel couldn't get any better.... great video! I am loving all the individual tastes and unique styling of each of you. What I noticed as a common thread was each tablescape showcased a gold metal item for the center such as Kathleen's mushrooms, Patty's pheasants and Paula's leaf candlesticks. Patty - it was interesting to hear your description of the Friendly Village theme. I just started collecting/thrifting the same pattern and I thought of them as winter/Christmas - only because of the snow. While I will use them winter/Christmas I now totally see your New England take on it. Great eye!! Judy, what a beautiful tureen set - great find!
Hi Marybeth! Thank you as always for your sweet and thoughtful comments! Patty and I were talking about how most people think of the Friendly Village pattern as fall and winter, but for us, growing up in maple sugar country, it is one hundred percent early spring in Vermont!
Loved all the ideas you gals gave us today!! And what a buy on that blue and white tureen that your viewer found. I would have bought it as well. Right now my dining room table has a blue and white ceramic footpath filled with velvet pumpkins that were a gift from my sis in law. We are empty nesters and we do not entertain as much as we once did so your video inspired me to think of inviting some friends over and to use my pretty things.
Hi Arlene - you know I love the blue and white, too! (This is Paula). I bet your table looks gorgeous! I always say - use your special things and make every day fun - you deserve it! :)
What a fun video. Absolutely loved every one of the tablescapes. And it has inspired me to be more intentional about setting the table. My dear granddaughter comes every Sunday and cooks dinner for me. She has been doing this for years ever since she came home from college. So this Sunday I will definitely be doing a fall table! And to viewer, Judy, Wow what a find. I’m also a lover of blue and white and you scored! Great video and lots of inspiration and all from thrifted finds. ❤️🍁
This was such fun & so inspiring! Thank you so much for putting these tablescapes together. I really enjoyed watching as I have quite the addiction to dishes of any kind but Fall is my favorite.
I love your decor choices. Your sister’s too. Fun video that was peaceful, inspiring & fun. I just subscribed too. Have a great day. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you sisters! Your table settings are all so beautiful, loved them all❣️I’m a thrifter also, and you’ve inspired me to have a little gathering this fall and set a pretty table! I think it makes the food taste better!! Lol ❤
Made the chili for lunch today. It's replacing my longtime recipe. She had me at maple syrup. It was spicy warm and sweet at the same time. So delicious! Happy fall!
Loved the fall table settings video I just joined this Facebook group Beautiful Table Settings (BTS) and thought that y’all would like it! No sure how to include a few photos here? Maybe I will email further information. 😊
I have the exact same silver pheasant salt and pepper shakers. I've never seen them anywhere else before. I think my mother got them as wedding presents in 1946, I'm not sure.
Thank you for the info on the salt and pepper shakers. I love them and found them at a church rummage sale. It is always fun to learn more about things from our viewers!
Love the cottage tablescape! Tickled me to see the 70's one! I really like your style of videos! QUESTION: Where do you store the variety of dishes and glasses that you use for your tables[es?
Thank you Barbara! I have a couple of big cupboards and stand alone pieces of furniture that are packed to the brim with my dishes! LOL. Not exactly pinterest worthy, but once I close the doors it looks just fine! LOL
Way back when we first started this channel, Kathleen did a video on her bar/tea cart. I will try to link it in this response. But it is probably time for her to do an updated tea/bar cart video! ua-cam.com/video/__sZHevbVxs/v-deo.htmlsi=3cQioHjnoByDifkm

I love the mushroom tablescape! Can you share your tea cart sometime? I'm looking for a similar kind and would love to see how you have it styled.
