both rm 1 and 2 were not boring by any means, definitely watchable but was disappointing though. i am really rooting for his directors cut, not high hopes but still any improvement over the current ones

I've heard.....varied opinions about this one. I can't quite say I'm chomping at the bit to see it as of now.
TOTALLY agree with you on The Fellowship of the Ring! Not just for the reasons you mentioned.
For me, it's also seeing the story involving the actual fellowship interacting together prior to the splitting into the different factions we see in the next two films.

Yeah, the actual fellowship of the Fellowship, is what makes the overall story work.
And yeah Rebel Moon was definitely not what we were expecting. It kinda hurts my soul to say that 😪

If the rumors about a rebel moon animated series being in the works before covid happening are true then i honestly think that's the route Snyder should stick with for a bit
I feel like if it was a show from the start things would have flowed a bit better. Netflix's decision to make a pg13 is mindbogglingly dumb and i honest to god hope that the directors cut is good cause as much as i enjoy Snyder's work I've been feeling REAL underwhelmed as of late.(Throughly enjoyed army of the dead tho and looking forward to the future)
