If we were looking for a home and could afford the Florida home prices I surely would have used Katie. Instead a few years ago we moved up north where we found a beautiful home at around 1/4 of the price we would have to pay elsewhere. It's the only way we could afford a home. Otherwise we would not be able to be homeowners, it's that simple.

Hi! Ok I have been in the real estate industry for 30 years. It’s not just her it’s the economy. Real estate is barely selling now. It’s crashing! To start real estate within the last 2 years is the worst time to start. Even agents who sell 5 a month are not selling anything. ITS A BAD TIME THATS ALL. She could maybe have gotten 1-3 deals for the year but that’s begging every day 10 hours a day. Don’t bring her down and don’t punish yourself! It’s gonna take at least 1-2 years before we see people buying again because we haven’t hit rock bottom yet. Hang tight! It’s coming and it’s gonna get bad!

History repeats itself it’s a cycle. There is a lot to learn to become a top agent in any real estate industry position. I suggest finding a mentor for her that has LOTS of experience and business for her to follow and listen and watch. She only has about 1/10th of knowledge she really needs to know to perform at an A level professional. Most realtors don’t have it either so be choosy and make sure they are good at what they do.

We never came out of 2008 , they did QE [printing money, corporate welfare]until 2019 when the REPO crisis hit right before the bug came which was another crash where they had to do another giant print and pay most of the country huge amounts and bail out almost every business because all the QE money was gone . My realtor weighs 300 pounds 5'1 height and she is very experienced with a lot of resources who got me a great deal, so you're wrong. Katy never feel your weight is the problem because is not. Mostly because this doesn't have anything to do with the channel or type of content that is made on the channel. This type of content is more seen in vlogging channels which go into that person's life. But hey it's their channel so they'll post whatever. Not a good time to be a realtor,interest rates are too high and people are expecting the values of houses to tank 30-40% so who would buy a house right now,the only people buying are the mega rich who dont care about prices or interest.
Jose. I live in Naples. The market has majorly slooooowed since late last year. My community usually has houses sell so quickly, for a good amount of $$ over purchase price. Since October, most are sitting. It’s crazy. If Katie cud keep her eye on the SW FL Real Estate Market - that would be helpful. She can update everyone on trends and etc.
I don't think Katie's weight has anything to do with her not being successful in RE. I live here in NYC and the lady who helped me find my apartment was plus size like her. The lady's weight didn't matter to me. What was important was how she gave me the feeling that she was really invested and on it in finding me an apartment i really liked and she was relly good at what she did. No katie doesn't have to be a "scumbag", too many of those in this world as it is, and in the end it gets you nowhere. She however has to keep it in the back of her head that in the RE field is full of wolves and be ready to respond as need to the wolves that she will encounter.

same thing happened to me with a cdl class b, I lost the license because in 2014 they started making drivers get a medical card and go to the dmv to put on file even if you were not active yearly. Several hundred dollars per year a DR visit that is several towns over and a half a day and DMV which is a whole day here in MA. For me it was the money , kept doing it and one year I just didnt have it things kept breaking and I have a family and had a job making good money but not driving and now the license is gone. The 6 week program and 3500 dollars in 2009 gone. You never had to register if you were non active until 2014 your license was always good. This country has become a joke riddled with scams for licenses, cdl mills and other fake programs that are all in cohoots with the credit card companies who love it because the suckers never stop , they are in it together. Then the govt gets their cut every year.
Give it some time. It took me 5 years to get my business going. Lost more than 10,000 dollars. I hate to say it, but your success or failure is no one's fault but your own. Not your subs. If you don't realize that, go find a 9 to 5 job.
I just saw an article where south Florida is 3 in the nation for people moving out. The Carolinas are replacing Florida. Not her fault. Question. I know y'all are not a fan of 55+ or manufactured home communities, however I know some have their own sales offices for prospective residents. Have y'all ever thought about Katie working for one of them? There's a 55+ in Lakeland, Cypress Lakes Village, owned by Cove Communities, that comes to mind.

Take it from me, I use to sleep in my car and work for a uncle making 3 dollar hour (under minimum wage at that time) 40 years ago. Now I am multi millionaire. You live in the best country in the world and the opportunities are limitless. Weight is never an issue. I have disabilties and never let that get in my way from what I want. I focus on the prize and never let up. Stay the course and do not let anger and other emotions get in the way. Please rethink how you are approaching this.

The two realtors that I know had to find a second job just to make ends meet. Everything is inflated now and everybody is struggling trying to make it. One of my kids had to move back home because a one bedroom apartment here is $1600, a car payment, insurance, student loan..... Its not like it used to be, and it's all by design.
Smart buyers ( Middle income )don't care what the person looks like, they want someone that will show they what they want and need. My first realtor was a very old looking woman, she did not work for my family because she was not respectful or a nice person. 🤷🏻♀️ I could have cared less what she looked like.

You also remember people out there are willing to pay $10k plus for advertising a year for an opportunity to attract clients. Profits is not a guarantee, you are on your own. Also, I disagree with Jose on how he perceives the sales profession. Nevertheless, let's get back to sales. Katie, sales is a very challenging profession. Speaking with experience as a retired VP of sales for a major corporation I understand your frustration , its because you were given a lot training that does not work. When I hear some say , oh I know how to sell ... trust me they don't. They may use a few incidents of success to make their case and box score, trust me , they don't know. Katie, take a business sales training course, study marketing and economics because it is so important before one begins selling. Selling is a process, nothing more regardless of what one sells. Learn the process because I know you can do it. It has nothing to with how may look, it has everything to do with how one manages the selling process. God Bless you both and stay safe. Remember, it is the sales persons job to convert the prospect into a customer.

With such a sweet personality as you have, and your kind heart, I think you would do well in the caring professions, such as nursing, medical technician, X-ray tech, or home health aide. This line of work is bulletproof as everyone needs medical care, there is never a shortage of jobs for that field. It's inflation proof, I was in the medical field for 30+ years and never had to worry about a job, in fact there were several opportunities open for me and I could choose the best one. My realtor weighs 300 pounds 5'1 height and she is very experienced with a lot of resources who got me a great deal, so you're wrong. Katy never feel your weight is the problem because is not. Biggest thing I didn't like is when he blames his audience for no sales. I'm like it's not their fault yea some people may have talked to his wife but they weren't ready to buy or whatever other reasons they had for not buying through her. I don't think Katie's weight has anything to do with her not being successful in RE. I live here in NYC and the lady who helped me find my apartment was plus size like her. The lady's weight didn't matter to me. What was important was how she gave me the feeling that she was really invested and on it in finding me an apartment i really liked and she was relly good at what she did. No katie doesn't have to be a "scumbag", too many of those in this world as it is, and in the end it gets you nowhere. She however has to keep it in the back of her head that in the RE field is full of wolves and be ready to respond as need to the wolves that she will encounter.

same thing happened to me with a cdl class b, I lost the license because in 2014 they started making drivers get a medical card and go to the dmv to put on file even if you were not active yearly. Several hundred dollars per year a DR visit that is several towns over and a half a day and DMV which is a whole day here in MA.
For me it was the money , kept doing it and one year I just didnt have it things kept breaking and I have a family and had a job making good money but not driving and now the license is gone. The 6 week program and 3500 dollars in 2009 gone. You never had to register if you were non active until 2014 your license was always good.
This country has become a joke riddled with scams for licenses, cdl mills and other fake programs that are all in cohoots with the credit card companies who love it because the suckers never stop , they are in it together. Then the govt gets their cut every year.
diploma mills are also a thing elsewhere but not as much as in the US, privatized education is not such a great idea for all sectors and activities.

Also, I disagree with Jose on how he perceives the sales profession. Nevertheless, let's get back to sales. Katie, sales is a very challenging profession. Speaking with experience as a retired VP of sales for a major corporation I understand your frustration , its because you were given a lot training that does not work. When I hear some say , oh I know how to sell ... trust me they don't. They may use a few incidents of success to make their case and box score, trust me , they don't know. Katie, take a business sales training course, study marketing and economics because it is so important before one begins selling. Selling is a process, nothing more regardless of what one sells. Learn the process because I know you can do it. It has nothing to with how may look, it has everything to do with how one manages the selling process. God Bless you both and stay safe. Remember, it is the sales persons job to convert the prospect into a customer.

With such a sweet personality as you have, and your kind heart, I think you would do well in the caring professions, such as nursing, medical technician, X-ray tech, or home health aide. It's inflation proof, I was in the medical field for 30+ years and never had to worry about a job, in fact there were several opportunities open for me and I could choose the best one.
