Cream heroes are so smart. One day they will taught how to open refrigerator.
I hope not, because if they get caught inside they could suffocate. :( I don't think a cat has enough strength to open a refrigerator, but hopefully the butler is monitoring their skill and prepared to buy a lock if it comes to that.
One of my kitties learned to open the freezer door, from above the fridge. She loves ice, playing with it, licking it. (FYI new fridge now and she doesn't try to oqpen it)

Tomboy Chick Not quite. Old refrigerators had latches that could only open from the handle on the outside. Modern ones close with a magnetic seal. So it is technically possible to open them from inside by pushing, but pets or young children might not realize they are in danger or may lack the strength to get out even if they want to (for example if an older sibling opens the door and a younger sibling gets trapped inside). This is why when you throw a refrigerator away you should take the door off entirely - because there have been cases where kids think it would be fun to play inside but then get trapped.
