Hi Tim, I am looking at using either a Micro850 or Opto 22 for one of my projects. Do you have any experience with Opto, and if so, what might your opinion be between the two? Thanks, fantastic videos!
@@TimWilborne I’m not looking to interface the two, I’m really trying to decide which platform to choose and see whether Opto 22 Snap PAC would be a similar product to a micro800 series. After further research, it looks like Opto may be more “smart IO” rather than a typical PLC. Thanks for the response!
Here is the link to this trainer. twcontrols.com/plc-trainers/tw-controls-trn-icp-micro850-aio-allen-bradley-micro850-plc-trainer-with-analog-ac-drive-motor-6zceh Here are all of our PLC trainer options at: twcontrols.com/plc-trainers
Which part? This was a custom trainer for someone. Here is a course that goes through the Micro800s. courses.twcontrols.com/courses/allen-bradley-micro800-plc-training
It comes with our basic program that is part of the wiring enough to get started exercise. After that it is up to you to write the programs to go along with the lessons.
@@TimWilborne Awesome! May have to buy a trainer in the near future. We don't have many 800's at work and I would like to learn more about them. Already know a lot about the 5, 500, and 5000 series of processor's. Not to mention it would be great for home learning with CCW being free!
Im interested in purchasing one because i already have the drive. I'm willing to purchase it from you or if you can help me find a vendor that would be great
This is a great looking design
Thank you!

I have limited experience with Opto22. How are you wanting to interface the two?

I'm more familiar with Opto22 as remote IO.

@@TimWilborne you think I would be able to swap out the micro 850 plc for a compact logix plc so I can practice with studio 5000?
That's a standard trainer. Here's a link.
@@TimWilborne would I be able to use I/o and power supply of a LR36ERM so I can practice studio 5000? Instead of the micro850 setup ccw
Tim, if one buys your Micro850 dose it come with Ladder logic program? can we build our own program as well?

Why not use a Stratix switch to add a little training on setting up one?
I'm getting ready to 😊
