Omg seeing all these people trying to get in as soon as someone gets inside there house makes my skin crawl... So happy that my partner and I always immediately lock the door when we get home and that we always check the locks before we go to bed!
You might've been correct in the clip of the crying girl suggesting it could be a scheme to get the residents to open the door. The full clip shows the neighbor's driveway light coming on and her running to hide behind that column behind her to avoid being seen by them. Which would be rather counter intuitive if she's trying to find help because she's in immediate danger. And when she leaves she just casually gets in a car a few moments after it pulls up in front of that house. Obviously, none of that is any kind of confirmation that she was involved in some plan to bait the home owners into opening the door so others can break in. But it certainly raises a few questions.
i saw on another video she was apparently arrested for breaking into someone else’s house
The ducking could make sense if someone was chasing her in a car like she was held captive and the kidnapper was driving around looking for her. But then it doesn’t make sense why she calmly got in a car, that makes me think it was a trick.
The crying girl was arrested in the end for a string of these, she was one of those that try to break in. If you watched the clip to the end, she hides from passing cars and then eventually gets into a car that pulls up when no one answers
Saw the first video in another video and I still think that the old lady has dementia or something like that, because she seems very confused. My grandmother had it and people get weird thanks to that. The woman probably thought that was her house. She even seemed confused about the knife. Could be that she was waking up and wanted to cook, suddenly remembered that she doesn't have eggs or something like that, wanted to buy them and walked past this house and thought it was hers still with the knife in hand. It wouldn't be the weirdest thing that old people did thanks to dementia. Still wouldn't have opened the door. Instead I would have simply called authorities. This woman needed help.
Edit: Also the green mantis or whatever that was, was so freaking cute XD I think it waved. Cute.
yes could be dementia, i work in a nursing home and a lot of residents with dementia can also get violent from the disease. i’ve had some try to stab me with a butter knife.
You didn’t watch the girl crying at the door on the floor long enough. She’s sus af. Kept hiding behind walls from cara and stuff. Then seemingly went to get in one at the end

Honestly, it's people like that who terrify me, even as a man. I'm a fairly big dude, but I was severely bullied at school, doesn't mean I wouldn't defend myself these days but some people just make this world a horrible place it's sad really

She can't control what's she's doing, she needs to placed somewhere safe where she's constantly monitored. The people who makes this world a horrible place are the people with genuine bad intentions, people who actually want to see others suffer. God forbid, and I mean God forbid, you ever get this sick and someone says you make the world a bad place.
Praying mantis was the bug! They’re rare in N.America. I’ve only seen a few in my day. They eat other insects. Super cool looking bug.

That first one of the lady holding the knife is terrifying. She seems to be holding the knife really casually as though it were her cell phone or something.
I'm so glad that lady didn't die. Those guys just running up like that, it's terrifying that you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times even in your own neighborhood and I assume that a lot of these neighborhoods are decent and not like the slums.
I like that one with the praying mantis. Would rather see that outside than a creepy person.

The lone female homeowner is the scariest as a single mum with two young children. The teremity of that man do not just do that in the daytime but also pretend he was her hired gardener. I've been told by so many people in my life from my parents to my bf to get a ring doorbell for safety reasons. I'm answering the call...I'm getting a ring doorbell.

#1: I truly hate that this is still being used this way. That is an old woman who has dementia and was lost and confused. She had the knife because she had been cutting a piece of pie in her home. Got confused and went to look for her daughter whom she lives with.
She is not trying to kill someone.

The clip where the girl was followed into her home by two men actually turned out fine. She had come home to her boyfriend or husband who ended up pulling a gun on those two guys, which is why they ran. Not sure if they got arrested, probably not to be honest, but the woman was fine.

These videos just make me grateful for our blink doorbell bc these are terrifying. I don't open my door hardly ever anyways but my mom would open the door to anyone when I was younger and I always hated that even as a kid. Now that I'm older I see how dangerous that was and I'm glad we have that so that my mom can see who is here before answering. Unfortunately we have a huge frosted glass window on our door tho so if someone is in the living room you can kinda tell :/ all I know is that I'm not gonna have a window on my door when I move out lol.

I've seen a longer clip of the video of the guys breaking in as the woman is going into her house. I heard they took her money and car. The car was recovered later that night but the guys weren't found as of last I heard.
