I just love this song. Especially in spanish. I would write a whole essay how well the performance fits with lyrics and how many different meanings there must be behind the lyrics and dance moves. But I just wanna say few things that came to my mind when I watched this like thousands times. 1. (To me) Lyrics mean power of their own mind and body. Nobody can tell you how to think or how to act. You don’t wanna fit in the bubble with other that can determine what is “normal” and what isn’t. You can do whatever you want. Don’t try to fit in the group, in the mass. Be yourself and be proud of u. 2. The dancers (every one else than Violetta) are zombies and robots. (Meaning that they are the big mass where u “should” belong. They try to conjure Violetta to be like them. Like a zombie, like a robot. And in times Violetta “fights back”. She almost gets conjured but then she snaps back to reality. 3. Violetta stars to control them. They start to follow her steps and imitate her dance moves. That means that Violetta has gotten power to herself. No one can control her. She is the master of her body and her mind. She “won” the lure to be like others. She decides to be the one in control. And that’s how it shold be. U decide what u want and what u like ect. Don’t try to be someone else to fit in. Kinda hard to explain it fully in english cuz I don’t speak it fluently but I hope u understood. Edit: and that was only one pov of this.
