How do I attach my Camera (Canon M6 Mii) to the Elgato multi mount. Do I just screw it is or do I need to buy an additional plate so the weight of the camera is spread out. Sorry I am totally new to this. I have only just bought the camera.

No worries lol. The screw on the multi mount is universal, meaning all the cameras use the same thread so you can just mount the camera directly onto the multi mount. You can attach a ball head in between and it still uses the same thread and screw so very simple, no adapters needed, nothing to worry about

You could wall mount your camera if you need to isolate them from the desk.

Yea but the main thing is that I will eventually turn my L-Shape Desk into a Motorized one so I would want the cameras to rise with the rest of my setup so I can stream standing up too. Plus, it's an apartment so I don't wanna put that many holes in the walls lmao😂

I used the thread to be able to mount the Ring Light and that also has a thread to mount my camera. It works on both the Multi Mounts and a regular tripod
