It must be a dress from the 20s-30s, Charleston era of music ...Stephanie looks just like a "Flapper" ready to dance the night away doing the Charleston. 💃 She just needs a long strand of pearls or Swarovski Crystals hanging from her neck and knotted once just below the neckline. They should do a Zelda & Scott Fitzgerald themed party & "flapp" the night away! 💃
I've heard Michael Petherick use that era of American Jazz on quite a few occasions on his vlogs ...always brings me back to memories of the movies like "Paper Moon", and my mom saying they were still doing the Charleston on the dance floor in the 1940s.
Glue the handle back on the teapot and give it to Marie to use as a “vase” for a flower arrangement. No need to just throw it away.

I love when Marie and Antoine visit. Marie just seems like the loveliest person. One of those people, people describe as a breath of fresh air. And Antoine is such a kind and sweet young man.

Antoine used to spend time with his grandparents in the summer , so that maybe why he hasn’t come.

All the gold remnants in that box reminds of my days in the dental industry. I was the wax & metal production manager for the largest dental laboratory in the world. We had powerful vacuums under each dental tech that vacuumed the dust from the restorations as the tech metal finished each piece. We (regularly) cleaned the traps for that collected dust and sent it to a designated refinery. That dust, made up of gold, platinum & palladium (high noble metals), e.g., amounted to 100K a month USD. Moral of the story…it adds up…save that box!!! 😂👍

Stephanie, have you ever thought of turning those beautiful cups into candles for the bedrooms and washrooms. You could even make them of "one of" cups in beautiful pordelain and sell them to support the chateau. I would buy one!

I can't help but think how pleased God must be with the stunning restoration of the chapel.
God rejoices not for any chapel or work of art, but in the reverence you have for the soul of others you see in the beauty of their work.
Why? It’s a material object that’s cost nearly a million to fix. While people are starving and dying. Bit of an odd thing to say. He needs to get is priorities straight
God may or may not be pleased but there is a whole community on here that certainly are not only pleased but humbled at being part of such an important restoration of a historic asset
So should Bach or Beethoven not have wasted God's time by writing such beautiful music? "To The Glory of God" as Bach put it. Feeding the poor , and making great works of art (or restoring them) are not mutually exclusive ...you can do all the above & God is surely pleased.

The Royal Albert Blue Moonlight Roses that you referred to as a “sacrifice” is my personal favourite. I inherited the teaset from my mother and bought extra cups, saucers and side plates, a cake plate and sauce boat before the style was discontinued.

Love how everyone works together to make the chateau beautiful. The chapel is going to be one tasteful, glistening gem. Marie, Stephanie and Chef Marie are so pretty in their dresses. Amaury is a genius and always thinking of ways to improve the chateau. Philip's eye for details is great to have. Love seeing the perfection of the dinner table, flowers and Marie's innovative meals. Who can resist a mischievous Mummy such as Isobel and Peacocks!!! All these reasons and more are why Chateau Lalande is my favorite vlog❤
You have such a patience with Phillip. That I admire the most , probably of the whole Lalande..mom has a porcelain. He decides to throw it away. Mom encourages it , because what else she could say ? To a 65 years younger kid...he could do , whatever he pleases , cheers to that !

Lovely to see Marie in lots of colour dresses. She suits all of the colours.
I don’t recommend burning old doors that probably have lead paint. Also be mindful of that when cutting/sanding them down. It’s a pain, I know.
