My guess is Fenty has been so mehhhhh because Rih has been more focused on her family this year. So maybe as her son gets older she can get more hands on with her brand again, because I’d hate to fast forward a few years and see a “downfall of Fenty Beauty” video.

Again, I don’t know why make up artists come out with makeup brands (Patrick Ta, Charlotte Tilburry, and etc) and don’t make things for deep deeper complexion. It’s giving are you a real makeup artist, do you know what you’re really doing, what people want? I feel like since the hype for more inclusiveness for deeper shades, it’s going back to pre Fenty days
I’ve had this feeling too.Ever since the UA-cam beauty community has died down and there is no longer outrage and tons of poor reviews bc of atrocious shade ranges (Tarte ShapeTape,Beautyblender Foundation), I feel like brands have been getting lazier and lazier with their products.

That fragrance in dior foundation is unbearable, broke me out as well.
At the beginning of this video I was saying "I know she's going to mention Fenty". I wish I would spend money on a product that could potentially be ketchup. I also remember the refillable lipstick which had me wondering what is going on. I'm curious about the Fenty fragrance but I want to smell it before I purchase it. Mostly because I've come to love gourmand fragrances and while it has notes of vanilla and coconut in it, it also has notes of magnolia and Bulgarian rose. We will see.
I love the Fenty Beauty perfume. Definitely not gourmand but I hope you love it when you smell it. 😄😄

Hopefully Fenty releases some new products in 2023. It’s been 6 years since they’ve launched and there’s still so many products they don’t have. I feel like they keep dropping variants of the same products.
I can’t see rem beauty lasting long unless they do some type of rebrand like Haus Labs did. None of the products seem interesting, I rarely see any hype for it on social media or irl and Ariana just doesn’t seem that interested in it imo
Limited edition isn't really limited for some brands. Just a marketing ploy to get sales.

Colourpop could’ve also used NBA dancers for promo. That would’ve been cute too especially since some of the dancers are also on tik tok and makeup is big on there

That Fentry interchangeable lipstick holder period, not just the limited edition super expensive one, was a bad look to me.
As much as collabs are annoying, Pat McGrath already has a galaxy theme so it is up her alley. The packaging was beautifully done as well.
The only new product I bought this year was Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blur. (And I think it launched in 2021.)
I have been enjoying the Kaja Whipped Dream Multi-Eye & Cheek Color, but I do not know if it came out in 2022.
10:15 If Dennis Rodman was somehow still affiliated with the league...missed opportunity. Also yes some female athletes wear makeup playing but those playing basketball do. Unless they want to market sweat proof foundation?

Idk if it was released this year but my favorite new product that broke me out of my Juvia’s Place chokehold was the LYS Cream Contour stick and I love it so freaking much. Courage is the perfect shade for me. I have to find an identical shade in the shade stick from JP and compare the two but LYS is definitely the goto for right now.
These collaborations are so annoying to me. I mean i get the fact that some people collect this stuff. But the fact Pat McGrath collaborated with Star Wars irks my spirit.
