I was singing this song at our regular weekly farmer's market (southern Utah), and an older gentleman said that the song was practically the county's anthem when he was young! The tune was regularly danced to, but he didn't think anyone ever sang it. He comes every week to listen to our little local bluegrass band, and I try to sing it just for him.

I can't remember hearing a better version of this song. 'No hype. 'No theatrics. 'Just a beautiful rendition in true Bluegrass style with the extra note for the "D" in the word "wildwood".
