Another Fleurie song to Outlander. I thought the recurring "I Don't Know" lyric in the song would make a good reference to the "What it is between us?" conversations in the show. Other than that, I just resorted to the old trusted method of piecing together nice-looking shots with nice-sounding lyrical music. I'm pleased a story was crafted out of this, however. This video is predominantly the earlier seasons used, but that was Outlander at its peak for me and therefore, I'll always be biased to choose that more so haha!

I’m on S3 and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to watch outlander. It’s one of the most intense, passionate, sensual relationships on TV ever and it’s so so, emotional. Not to mention Scotland in the backdrop, WOWWWWWW
😢😭 This is so sensitive. It hits all the right notes. Jamie IS the King of Men. Never has a love story depicted a marriage in this way. So many of us grew up in broken homes. Jamie & Claire show us what a loving marriage looks like - through thick and thin. And you've done an amazing job of retelling it here. Thank you so much.

@@RMFilmStudios I couldn’t agree more! As the show progresses I have a hard time with some of it. I love the show but the rape episodes and flashbacks are bit much for me. It is the only parts I wished weren’t included.

So many times over the years I'll hear a song, or a piece of music, and think how great it would work for a montage of Jamie & Claire scenes... They're the kind of characters (and wonderful actors portraying them) that evoke that kind of thinking!

"Mausoleum" by Rafferty kinda reminds me of an AU C/J story. It's about love existing outside of the confines of time and space for a reason that's a complete mystery. Really cool, haunting song!

I've just checked Digging for Britain on BBC Iplayer and the Bradgate Park episode is unavailable to watch back which is a shame. You picked some good scenes that are not used that often and fit the song like a glove...I just.wish you could have shown Claire's face coming off the boat reaching out for Jamie's hand a bit longer . Yeh, it’s quite a famous port now. During this period of 1700s, it was being transformed into a deeper, better port for big vessels like what Claire and Jamie arrive on! Thank you for praise, I’m very happy to see it means a lot to people :)

Every other visual parallel you pointed out made me gasp and then go "Awww!" and my heart kept bursting like a little fireworks show in my chest. Lovely video. Got hooked on this show during this past Christmas, and wow, I love this show and these characters!!! To be honest, I adored season 5. Seasons 1 and 5 are my faves. I think season 4 was the only weak season, but it recovered well afterward!

Truly a masterpiece created with your unique wonderful style. I noticed that Jamie's ghost appears twice in the video and in this context his parting words at the standing stones also seem more significant. "I'll find you. Promise" or the old dying man about the white witch "she seeks for a brave man. A McKenzie." Is that a coincidence or do you also think about how the story might end? In any case, my fantasy about the end is on its way again ... Many thanks for your brilliant work. Take care of you.
Thank you for the confirmation and for the comment about having a unique style☺️ In reference to your question, well done on observations in these vids. That’s great to see. I used it twice because I love that scene and because of how many interpretations you can make with it. I thought “I didn’t have time” suited it well in the first use of the scene because it’s like he wanted to say something to her from afar outside her window and is unable to, probably “I love you”. I like the idea of matching that scene with “I’ll find you, I promise” too. I’m sure I’ve drawn that parallel in another edit. Plus the turning around was a good effect alongside the whoosh sound effect and fast change in tempo of the song. I used him and Frank later in the vid because of the “raining” lyric that she sings and it matched there, plus looks good. I’m still unsure like many of how that scene in episode 1 will unravel! Looking forward to that explanation.
