The memories that I have with these lights hurts me... my childhood was abusive in every way possible... I never had a childhood that I can look back on without stumbling into memories of the pure misery I experienced as a kid... The only happy memories I had was christmas that was the time where I never had to worry about being beaten or tortured... I return to these nostalgic sounds because I am reminded that I am not worthy of a happy life as even as an adult, I'm still suffering from my childhood... I still feel like I was meant to spend my first half of my life suffering and the other half spent coping and spending all my energy to cope 😢
We sometimes forget a lot of the past family memories;because we block it a lot because of what happened.But know that Jesus is there and somehow you heal and see it through a different lens of betterment.Your better days God Jesus can give
I may not have gone through what you went through, and I will not pretend to know your pain. All I can say is that I also had a rough childhood. I still carry the pain with me sometimes. But I am able to take comfort in knowing I survived it, and nothing can ever hurt me the way my past did ever again. Any hardship that comes my way now, I know I can prevail because what i've already overcome in my past. Again, I don't know what your life has been like. But _you survived._ That's a good thing. You are still here, alive, and you overcame your hardships. There will be more, but know you are worthy of overcoming them. Godspeed, and happy holidays
Ours had a Santa face were the nose was a button but it was these same exact songs . We would all fall asleep in the living room with all my siblings and cousins and it was the absolute most peace I’ve had in life … it was bliss ..
I have a music tree which plays these songs in the same notes, funny enough. It’s been part of my life for over 20 years and for many more to come. I’ll have this precious item up to my dying day
