    Great videos, watched all of them! Definitely going to help the rest of us new beta owners.

    Really enjoy your videos man. Got the same bike on its way from Italy. Hopefully here within a month. All I ride is tight mountain single track and where I live there are a lot of switchbacks so the steering is something I’m kind of worried about not being tight enough. This was an awesome how-to. Keep it up man! Cheers.

    Thanks for the video. I'm glad you showed me this way because I was going to go at it differently but now will adopt your way. I think it needs to be done to get the tight steering.

    I installed this on my Xtrainer in Sept of last year and had no issue with the forks contact. Great radiator guard for the money.

      I only modified the radiator guards because I changed my steering angle.

    Thanks for sharing this mod! I’m awaiting delivery of an 22 300 race edition myself and have the same guards (with fan kit too) sitting in the pile of parts I’ve already purchased for it. I’m even going to give motoes skid plate/pipe cage a try as well.
    Thanks again!

    Don't be afraid to say "Hard Enduro", As you said, this mod is absolutely needed on the 20+ RR's for Hard Enduro! If you only ride wide open, or MX don't bother.

    Did you have any issues mounting the gas tank shrouds to the rad guard? I bought the motoes rad guard and the mounting holes don’t line up.

    • @blackboxrr6572
      @blackboxrr6572  2 роки тому

      Yes, I had to modify the shrouds slightly and they do fit tight. If I were to do it again, I would have drilled an alternative location on the radiator brace with a speed nut or well nut to make things easier.

      @benapplebee3331 2 роки тому +1

      @@blackboxrr6572 thanks for the reply. I shaved some plastic off the inside of the shroud and got them to line up better. My plan is to loctite some studs into the bottom rad mount, rather than struggle with the bolt every time eventually stripping it.

    Super vidéo, peux tu mettre le lien des protections de radiateurs, jai egalement fait la modification mais jai acheté des protection de radiateur axp jai du toute les recouper car cela réduit trop le braquage.

    Did you remove the coolant to do the heat up to bend?

      Honestly, I just rode the Beta again this weekend for a few hours, now that the snow has melted and hands down the Beta is the most unbelievable and reliable bike I've ever ridden. It's truly underrated.

      @@blackboxrr6572 how about the fuel economy on the beta.. carb set up..
      Do you feel you need to rejet the carb at all? I'm only 5'7 so I'm tempted by the shorter beta then the KTM etc

    • @blackboxrr6572
      @blackboxrr6572  2 роки тому

      The shorter Beta is an advantage. When I switched out the rear tire to the 110/100-18 it lowered the rear end by an inch. I was worried about the skit plate height, but it made dabbing and handling so much better. As far as the jetting, the bike has been spot on factory for our elevation which is only 1000 ft below sea level.
