Wouldnt Aran Ryan be the only Punch out character that can be labeled a villian. They are all just boxers playing characters like with real boxing. The showboat persona of Macho Man is part of his character. But it is just a competitive sport story not Hero vs villain

Why do I have the feeling that Super Macho Man actually practiced singing this song multiple times before the fight? It kind of makes the loss much more soul-crushing.

Its impressive how you manage to do gravely voice in a subtle way. Normally when people add gravel to their voice it overwhelms the performance, but you can make SMM sound strained and gravely as a background part of the voice, not the entire thing.

It's my personal headcannon that the reason hes called "SUPER macho man" and not just "macho man" is that the name was already taken so he changed one thing so it seemed original
I guess the original Macho Man was the one from Super that is super vain but more about exercise and showing people up, and less so about popularity

I really like how Mac is down (both in video and the lyrics) in the Mac down part of the music and same for Super Macho Man in the opponent down part of the music, it ties the lyrics and the video really well with the music and the way it works in the game!

This has me curious as to how the lyrics would go if it was the title defense fight where Macho Man basically discovers that all of his girls are not loyal but for some reason tries to fight and get them back just like Don Flamenco.
