Wedding DJ Gig Log -Winter Wedding at Newport Beach House, Middletown, RI - DJ Alex Brown

Come along with me to see my work at Jeremy & Megan's Wedding at Newport Beach House: A Longwood Venue in Middletown, RI. This wedding was the last wedding that had be postponed due to the pandemic, more on that in paragraph 2. I provided services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception; including but not limited to music, microphones, dancefloor lighting, uplighting, glow towers, and my signature custom keepsake necklace monogram. I have been to Newport Beach House once before, but for a summer wedding, and I have another wedding coming up at this venue in June. CONGRATS Jeremy & Megan!
Throughout the video, you may notice that my marquee signboard (different from marquee letters), says 2.19.2022 but that the monogram says 2.19.2021. This is because the couple actually got married on their original wedding date in 2021, and wanted their keepsake necklace (which is made from the monogram) to display their actual wedding date.

Could you do a video on your setup/load in? do you use a trailer and do you have an assistant? love the vids!

I used to do this but found that a lot of people lose interest when the video starts out like that, especially couples. I have a box truck that I use for bigger gigs like this and when moving large pieces of gear mainly subs or photo booth do bring an assistant, I did have one on this particular wedding.
